At home I get nothing, turned wifi off, done airplane off and on, when out signal is minimal and mostly nothing. Swapped sims, no different and now using the sim in my z10. Works great!
Any ideas of anything furher, otherwise my pp will just become a mini tablet for home use only!
    Shame I miss it!

This happened to me a month ago. I got no signal at my home but if I got close to a cluster of antennae on top of a building I would get an E or maybe two bars of reception. Turns out it was a hardware flaw. Fortunately my Passport was still under warranty and I got a new sent to me from BlackBerry Support.

Sounds perhaps it may be a hardware issue and I would suggest to exchange it. You didn't by chance upgrade the radio file with the wrong one using one of the tools such as Sachesi?

Thanks chaps, I have only ever done official BlackBerry updates never side loaded! The phone unfortunately is over a year old so no exchange either. Will use the z10 until I can fund an iPhone SE.

I assume the warranty is only 1 year, wonder if BlackBerry will take pity on me and swap it at 16 months?

This appears to have happened to my AT&T Passport, after 14 months.

I assume I won't be able to get a new phone.

So, this is the end of the line for me with BlackBerry. Been a good run.

Sent my passport back three weeks ago, didn't realise it had a 2yr warranty. Collected a new passport from CPW today! Nice!

the 2 year may have been a carrier thing. I got a Passport from a client with this issue and took it apart. Couldn't get it to work. Then I received another Passport from a different client. I swapped the motherboard out of the working one into the one that was in better condition and voila, good to go. I also contacted Blackberry as this Passport was only 15 months old and they told me, sorry, the warranty has expired.
