Some online reviews say the Passport keyboard is stiff. Is that right? For you Passport owners does the keyboard loosen up a lot with use after a few weeks?

When you first use it, it feels kinda stiff. But, like a pair of leather shoes, eventually it breaks in until it's just right. I've found that a lot of keyboards start off feeling loose and end up feeling fragile. I'm not sure I'll ever have that issue with the PassPort.

It is at first but remember, BlackBerry Physical Keyboards don't wear out they wear in.

After using black for months then switching to red, the red keys were much stiffer, but the phone's still fairly new so will probably break in. I'm sure that the black went through the same process, but I had nothing to compare to as the Passport was/is my first device with a physical keyboard!

The stiffness is because it acts as a track pad too. If it's not stiff the gestures won't work smoothly.

The Passport keyboard feels just right. I can type on it in bed without bothering my wife. The Classic keyboard also feels good just a lot more "clicky" imo.
