Got my passport few days ago and since yesterday the keyboard scrolling function has stopped working. I used it to scroll down, left and right while in the browser but it has simply stopped. I have tried to change settings in the browser and through settings menu but this thing is not budging. Help!!

can i ask you a favor? can you post the file/in a thread the tips you have so far? i know, kind of lazy on my part, but i can start collecting them after yours... if you don't mind that would be very helpful, thanks!
Sorry for late reply! My man works waay up north in camp and he just got home this week, so all my time has been spent enjoying outdoor activities (quading and practising with our recurve bows, ) with him. No time for my favourite tech stuff!

The text file is on my laptop at home (I'm on CB app), but when I get my act together and find a moment to spare, I'll do that for you.

    As a rule of thumb:
Tap the Shift key once to write one capital letter (alternatively: hold the key)
Longpress the Shift-key to lock it.
Swipe down once is like pressing alt (to write one single alt-character)
Swipe down twice is like pressing sym (to write one single sym-character)
To lo lock alt or sym, long press on the @123-key (upper blue dot: alt, lower blue dot: sym)

Must be a joke. The comma does not appear in the fourth row? Do I really have to push the 123 button before???

What? No... the joke is that the comma appears ONLY on the fourth row. You cannot map it to a physical key, it's the only symbol.

Good one. I too want the fourth row keys to be mapped. It should be "swipe down", keys get mapped, press physical key, and move on.

Oh sure fourth row. But I have to push the 123 button before and this is ridiculous!

I dunno why yours is different. See in my picture, the comma is ever present.

Make sure you have the following option turned 'Off':
    Quick Switch.

"The Cursor Control is easier if you know that Double Tapping the keyboard brings it up, and double tapping again turns it off.

In another thread I mentioned that when trying to get somewhere in Cursor Control, sliding your finger along one of the frets is a good guide. It helps me "land" where I mean to land."

One of the best tips yet! Awesome thank you!

To select, you can call up the cursor by double tapping, bring it to the beginning of the selection, then, by holding shift, no need to touch the circle... just touch anyway on the screen, move down to select as much lines as you want!

You could try to re-boot the device! That fixes a few things generally! Press the Up & Low Volume buttons on the right side till the Device reboots. Hopefully, it may solve your problem.

Up and down volume key reboot takes longer time... I mean, pressing the keys for a longer time till the reboot takes place... Hold for 9-10 secounds/or hold until it reboots... The starting procedure takes lesser time than my Q10.

Sometimes it is frozen, sometimes does not reboot the hardware situation... The "Hard-reset" or Hardware reset/reboot cuts the power for a little time and corresponds to a battery pull on the older BB devices.

Please help to find the easier way to access comma (","). I actually need it more, then a period (".") But one can apparently only get it on the virtual keyboard after typing "space". Any chance to change the virtual keyboard symbols?
