Are keyboard shortcuts only available for 10.3.1? I'm on 10.3.0.908 and do not see any settings to turn on shortcuts.

Just Speed dial on PassportSQW100-1/10.3.0.1418.
Long press a key on the home screen to set them up.

The rest, like you said, is 10.3.1 and up.

I am on. 908 and there are shortcuts, not as many as the 9900 but most of the ones I use. As per a poster above, check the BlackBerry website.

On device, go to Help and search "keyboard shortcuts". You'll get lists by BBM, browser, etc. Custom shortcuts can be set up in Settings > Shortcuts and Speed dial.

You get a wealth of customized keyboard options with 10.3.1 but you have to live with the occasional bugs. Like flickering screen and green bars in the camera app for example.
