I have the same on the backspace side but it's slight and doesn't bother me at all.

Christ, is this little issue that bad that someone would take the time to post about ridiculous stuff like this? Good god, my Z10 has spots like this in areas, my iPhone 5S Had spots like this too.

What are you looking for? The device to be manufactured down to tenths of a thousandth of an inch or what?

Give your heads a shake. Christ.

Got them horizontally above K and under P, and on either side of the KB where the second fred (top down) meets the frame.
It's no problem but it obviously a manufacturing problem.
Seeing a similar complaint from another thread, I decided to go really nitpicking. The finding: both camera lens (front and back) are not centrally aligned in the round openings of the glass but are more to the right side. The back camera is about 1 mm off to the right. So precision build may not be a thing for BBRY. But it doesn't matter, I love my Passport anyway.
Yep, these types of small issues are on every Passport handset. More recent builds do seem to be somewhat better in this regard. I've actually noticed that the keyboard dimensions changed very slightly on the newer build devices, presumably to eliminate some of the light bleed issues on the sides of the keyboard.

That aside, every one of my camera lenses is offset from the center as well. Since it's very minor and does not affect functionality I don't worry about it, but I respect that it may bother some people. It is a $700 device after all and there is no reason why there should really be any issues on it.

Do you have dates on those builds? You already know about my first unit, which was built October 16th I believe.

My replacement is from October 23rd and was obviously refurbished. I've had it for a week and am not seeing any loose keys yet.

I've noticed that devices built in late October are starting to look better, more consistent. I don't think I can comment on a specific date per say.

My box says 101114, so not sure if this means Oct or Nov, but I bought mine from BlackBerry during the boxing week sale.

I have vertical bleed right at the lower two frets where they meet the frame, right side.

The backlighting is also uneven - it's dimmer in the middle section and brighter on the outter two.

Just checked mine, and I don't seem to have any light leaks.

I can understand why this would be irritating - this is an expensive phone, and is supposed to be a premium device. Flaws like this are not expected.

Have the same bleed between the frets and the bezel. Honestly don't consider this an issue

I had exchanged two devices and on my third now; they all had mic/Wifi issues. But no light bleeds. A premium device cannot have these faults.
