Hello guys.

I got my hands on my brand new Passport today...a few minutes ago even. I'm currently at work so I can't play with it yet, however I decided to make this post for I have some questions.

1. What's the best way to transfer my pics/music/other data from my Q10 to the Passport ? For some reason my Blackberry Link is no longer syncing my Q10 via Wi-fi (as it used to) so I think it's broken or something.

2. How to transfer apps which I bought from the BB store over to my Passport -are those automatically available as I log in with my Blackberry ID or ? Also what's procedure with the BB-ID -can I log with the same on both devices or should I turn off the internet connection to my Q10 and then log in on the Passport?

3. And lastly what's the difference between the SQW 100-1 version of the Passport and the other ones ? I couldn't find anything about that on the internet so I'll greatly appreciate if someone answers that question -it's really important to me because I just paid a lot of money for the device so I won't be really happy if it's missing something crucial the other versions may have etc.

1. To transfer all information you need to use link if you can't then use bluetooth or nfc to transfer multimedia and contacts (if not linked to email)
2. The apps will show up in the my world part of BlackBerry World. And yes you could have one BlackBerry ID for both devices but BBM can only be on one at a time.
3. There is only one model passport so far

Thanks man -I really appreciate it! I hope you're right about the one model because usually they always release a variety of models like 100-1 / 100-2 etc...and usually those are for different regions but sometimes they differ in functionality as well.

Link transfers everything including text messages but there may be an app as an alternative to link for text messages
