Holster is pointless until Blackberry brings back notification profiles from its older legacy OS to BB10.

Have you tried the "Holster Profile" app from Toysoft (in BB World)? It recaptures most of the legacy holster options.

And I disagree that the holster is pointless without profile options. Some have no need for different notifications in and out of holster.

I ordered the leather belt clip holder pouch thingy from CB store. Looks like it's a no name brand. It will have to do for now.

You have to pay for that app and it's third party, feature like this where most people want is inexcusable by blackberry. Most professionals carry their Q10s in a holster and i am very disappointed this features is lacking when it was standard with all legacy OSes.

Correct. The holster clips onto the belt. The one you linked to has no clip, and opens like a book:

I think that setting was with us in 10.2.1. Not sure 100%, since I've been on the 10.3 leaks almost since they became available.

Yes it was and it's on my passport as well so I'm guessing they will have a holster.

According to a guy I spoke to at Selfridges, they have no plans for one because the number who would buy is so small that it would need to be really expensive to be worthwhile, but he might be a minion so who knows

Need holster, when not wearing a suit jacket, or when setting up cable runs etc in the av business and have to remove phone from rear pocket all the time

I'm using powertools and it brings back some good stuff for in/out holster notifications (though it's far from being as powerfull as BB0S7 notifications that I still really miss)

Some of us don't wear a suit, but still need some place to keep the phone for quick access. I love the Seidio Face-In Spring Clips the best. They didn't make one for the Z30 and I miss it, but the slide-in swivel cheapo one works. Finding a small flat magnet to place inside the felt is harder than I would like.

If anybody knows of a source, I'd love to know it.

Not necessarily.On both my Q10 and Z10 the device goes to sleep as soon as I put it in the holster. Granted, notification profiles are very slick and might come back with the Classic. I just can't see putting a phone in my pocket!

Somone from another post mentioned this site, Custom Handmade Premium Genuine Leather Phone Cases and Holsters For iPhone, HTC, Galaxy Note, Lumia, Blackberry and More they have an option to select the holster and get the case with a belt clip, but no swivel option.

They are testing it. For now, they take pre orders as name and e-mail to contact those who are interested once they are ready.

I picked up a Note3 holster as a temporary measure, until a holster made for the Passport arrives. It's a bit too tall, but I added a peice of plastifom in the bottom to bring the device to the top of the holster.



Not perfect, but it's nice to have my device back on my left hip where it belongs.
