Viber works very well with PP, make sure you load 5.6.5

Try this link. It has a lot of updates for BlackBerry os.

The silver edition is better in terms of build quality and the extra chin below the keyboard.

Passport SE is a very good phone, but not a smartphone. As a phone it does a damn good job, but as smartphone, camera not really great in the dark and lags, apps is to many issues. Love the square screen, size is perfect, classic and Q10 is too small even any smartphone is too small if you hold it vertical, Passport screen have perfect wide and I will want next phone who have the same wide screen as Passport. Instagram huuuge pictures is too porn to watch on Passport ) Didn't find any alternative phone with that kind of wide vertical screen yet.
Personally, I'm back to my Passport SE from android (Huawei P9) and iOS (iPhone 7 Plus) myself, but I would not recommend any BB10 device because of its unfinished Operating System, hardware is pretty much outdated too.
In other words:
If you want a phone, not a smartphone, Blackberry Passport Silver Edition is your best choice.01-24-17 11:26 AMLike 0 -

- For me, app ecosystem. BB10 app ecosystem is imitation of app ecosystem and honestly Blackberry World can not be called as app ecosystem.
Honestly owning BB10 devices is practically the same as owning BB 7OS or earlier just in prettier package. If were no ability to install android apps, owning BB10 would be the same as owning oldschool Nokia, in other words, BB10 is perfect for calling, sms, that's it. Google Services make BB10 more like Nokia, 4.3 android runtime make BB10 like Nokia, in other words, BB10 month after month becomes more like oldschool Nokia.
Month after month owning BB10 becomes more and more the same as owning Symbian Nokia. Is it bad? It depends, but because of this BB10 for me is a phone, not a smartphone, unless BlackBerry as SOFTWARE COMPANY will make BlackBerry World a REAL app ecosystem and we won't need android apps workarounds ever again.Last edited by iHadLastBB; 01-27-17 at 05:30 PM.
01-27-17 04:40 PMLike 0 - i would only go for Passport SE because of his soft keyboard... it is much easier to type...first passport have hard keys. ..much harder than on Q1001-27-17 05:13 PMLike 0

Mine has an excellent messaging center called the Hub, takes pictures and video, goes to a place called 'the internet ', syncs all my calendars and contacts, has excellent nav apps, enables me to babble on CB, ... well the list goes on. No dumb apps on my smartphone
1. Talking about BlackBerry HUB.
Emails are broken. If you are using Gmail on BlackBerry 10 device you only get emails which comes to your "Inbox". You will only see 'Inbox' emails in your main HUB screen. You will only get notifications for your 'Inbox' emails. If you make new or existing emails "archive" or "skip inbox" and go directly to specific "label" on Gmail settings, you wont get that emails to your Blackberry 10 device HUB main list + you wont get notification you got new email, you can only find that email then you manually go to that specific label/folder (and yes, even then you SYNC all your folders!).
NO, it is not normal, because you will get and see all your "archived" and "skip inbox" email on main screen with BlackBerry 7OS and earlier, also everything works perfect even with BlackBerry HUB android version, BlackBerry Blend also works PERFECT!, that is insane, it only do not work with BlackBerry 10 devices!
All of this doesn't work because of HUB>Settings>Display and Actions>"Show Read Filed Emails" button do not work AT ALL on all BlackBerry 10 devices! It doesn't matter if "Show Read Filed Emails" button is ON or OFF, it ALWAYS acts like it's OFF! "Show Read Filed Emails" works with BlackBerry Blend, then you ON/OFF emails show and hide on BlackBerry Blend, but on BlackBerry 10 devices all "archived"/"skip inbox" emails are always HIDEN!
It looks like BlackBerry make this BUG in purpose, to make BlackBerry 10 devices unusable for emails and they still do not fix this issue! "Show Read Filed Emails" button works only with BlackBerry 7OS/earlier and android version of BlackBerry HUB, but not on BlackBerry 10 devices!
It is already 2017 with 10.3.3... OS version and this BUG is still not fixed. It is most definitely a #1 sabotage of BlackBerry 10 to kill it and BlackBerry made it in purpose!
2. Talking about pictures and videos.
If you are in darken place, selfie camera lags as hell and it is almost impossible to make a normal picture, same is with back camera. In general, Passport camera is below average and front facing camera is a joke (only reason why I didn't buy PRIV).
3. Talking about syncs all my calendars and contacts.
Native Facebook app made by BlackBerry stoped working and all my syncs of contacts and birthdays/events are gone.
4. Apps.
Android version of Instagram stoped working, newest Facebook/Messenger apps doesn't work, Endomondo running app gone from BlackBerry World and android version doesn't work too and says "download app from BlackBerry World"?! Whatsapp EOL after 5 months.. well the list goes on. No dumb native indie-apps from unknown developers for the same FB,Messenger,Instagram services. It is not an option.Last edited by iHadLastBB; 02-01-17 at 11:58 AM.
