    Would you have liked an extra row of physical keys on the passport? Or do you prefer the onscreen virtual keys?

    It looks too weird with the extra row. Now I understand why the 3 rows solution was implemented. Off topic, I'd like to see a 9780 with the size of the Passport and rocking BB 10....

    The screen is the same size, but having that extra row would be alot easier to type numbers i think.

    How would any of us know if we are going to miss the classic keyboard setup until we use the Passport? I applaud BlackBerry for trying something different. From the hands on reviews I've read everyone states the keyboard takes some getting used to but is awesome. Lets wait and see how the Passport turns out before requesting a different version.

    Totally great. I really like that extra row. Hopefully "Passport II" will have it. Although I'd rather have the traditional shift and dictation keys.

    Not only do I love the extra easily-accessible functions that extra-row provides but I believe on your concept it balances out the width better, coming closer to a better rectangle aesthetically and ergonomically.

    Passport will be great but I'm giving a big-thumbs up for this for next years iteration.

    I wouldn't be surprised if it did. Up the screen size to a 5", up the screen resolution and pixels, add an extra row on the keyboard, throw in an Octa-core processor and better cameras, and up the price, all making an even bigger and better beast of a Passport II. Although by that point they may have to call it the Passbook, given how big the damn thing would be. That is if they do any of these things.

    I think it would have made more sense for the keyboard to work just like the virtual keyboard does with the hard keys switching between letters, numbers, and symbols when you swipe down. You wouldn't loose any screen real estate and i think it would be easier to get used to.

    Dont see why they removed it. Ive been playing around with that idea. I didnt add all the symbols but you get the idea.
