After reading several reviews where the author uses both a Classic and a Passport I became intrigued with the idea.

Perhaps even where the Passport becomes the tablet, like another poster here mentioned.

But which one?

Detroitborg shows the silver one with rounded edges on the bottom (and other differences)






Then there is this video that shows a black one with all four corners rounded off.

The round black one is the AT&T model.

Anyway, of those three, I'd go with the silver one, since it's essentially the revised version of the original square Passport.

SE has a better keyboard for sure. And the silver chin makes it easier to type on, compared to the original Passports I had.

Exactly, SE keyboard is much easier to type and it looks great. On the other hand, red or white Passport... But keyboard made the decision. It's that better.

I had used a black passport for a while, and later on I bought a passport SE.
I think the SE's keyboard is much better than the black one, maybe its because SE is 2mm longer.

The red isn't available from ShopBlackBerry anymore either though, you'll have to go used.

Need some community help. Thinking of purchasing PASSPORT SE. Love the format and the functionality. The question I have which may have been addressed is this :

If I purchase PPSE am I stuck forever with a dying OS BB10 ? Or is there likelihood that BB will offer an upgrade path to Android going forward. I would hate to spend $ 600 only to find out a year from now I have a boat anchor.

I guess it's all conjecture but just in case anyone has some insight.....

AT&T, period.

ZERO hardware/software issues

(the only drawback to at&t is waiting for updates, and this is a deal-breaker for some)

I had the regular passport and the AT&T version and I found the AT&T one was easier to type on. Both units had excellent build quality and a great screen.

I know there are a lot of rumors about OS10, but there are still a lot of corporate enterprise users out there that Blackberry will need to support for a while.

I say if you can get a SE, Red and the original model for a price you can't refuse, go for it.

Yeah all depends what form factor you like. I haven't heard anyone complain about the SE after getting it. It's basically the revised edition and some people have said keyboard is better plus signal.

So, I put on my first real pair of polarized sunglasses this morning, and my red Passport isn't unusable, but this isn't great, I will admit.

Is the SE screen not anti-glare?
