    Ok, here's the deal:

I want to make kind of mock up size model: cut a piece of cardboard to see how it should look like.

ANYONE knows what the Width and Height of passport actually is?

I've looked and kind find anything. Isn't it supposed to be similar to the size of an actual passport?

    That's the case.

Ok, size like passport. But it might be a bit taller/shorter / wider /narrower by a mm, you name it, but it might affect how it feels in hand.

There was a review few days ago of real-life passport. I wonder, why the one who wrote it, didn't took exact dimensions of the device, including exact dimensions of screen.

Like: device is 120x100x10 mm size ant screen is 90x90 while keyboard is 25x95

    Or something

In that case , we could make our own mock ups to see how it looks/feels

From the pics I have seen, its actually bigger than a passport. Also, thicker. So make sure to make it the right thickness. You can probably extrapolate the dimensions by using the side-by-side pics of the Passport next to the iPhone 5.

Just borrow someone's iPhone 5 and use it to draw something a little taller and then use the width of the iPhone plus another iPhone up to the edge of the connector. It looks about the same thickness of the iPhone 5.

I would be curious to find out how it feels to carry this around in your hand for a prolonged period of time. I don't think I would find it that comfortable. My natural inclination would be to hold it by pinching it front-back rather than gripping it side-side and there's no one-handed thumb inputs, say if you are dialing.

    Yeah. Extrapolations

That's one big flaw in previous article, the OP forgot to take down exact measurements

Looks correct, considering the iPhone has such a puny battery in comparison to the monster battery in the Passport.

At its thickest 10mm, at its thinnest, around 9mm.

    (Thinner than the Z30)

Measurements taken from an actual device.

    At its thickest 10mm...
Would that be the camera "bulge" or the keys?

10mm is definitely thick. I was hoping that this was a thinner device. My LG G2 that I am using right now is 8.9mm. Galaxy S4 is only 7.9mm. That's a big difference when you put the device in your pocket. A whole centimeter is a hefty thickness and it is as thick as the Q10 and thicker than the Z30. Knowing the thickness I am slightly concerned about the pocketability of the device when wearing dress pants.

1 cm is 10mm. 1mm is not such a big deal

This looks like an iPhone 5/5s to me and the Passport is clearly taller. My iPhone 5s is almost exactly the length of my passport so the Passport is definitely larger than a passport.

The first photo is beside an iPhone 4 model. The second is beside an iPhone 5S

If people went to @HaloBandit s twitter, they'd know.

Devices dimensions are already posted above. Shown beside an iPhone 6.

In the end the Passport could even be smaller than the new phablet by Apple (but a tad larger)
