I am one of those who has sort of bad mouthed the passport thinking it was a somewhat larger version of the old Blackberries.

I was completely wrong. I was in a Telus store today and this phone completely kicks ***.

It isn't really even a phone. It is something else entirely. A net book shrunk down to Palm size that happens to also make calls perhaps.

(That having been said it will be a cold day in hades before I buy a Priv.)

The Passport mixes aspects of a phone, a tablet and even some of the old glorious Psion 5mx PDA's. After close to 10 months of use I find it hard to find anything that gets close. Now with the introduction of the Priv is going to be interesting to see how the Passport prices evolve.

I went the other way on this....My SE was a straight up powerhouse! I loved the keyboard, screen, and internals the most. The only thing that held me back was the size.

If I had 2 hands available all the time and/or worked an office job, the SE would still be in my hands today.

Due to the fact that I'm always on the go, the Classic fits my needs a little better. So the SE has been returned to Amazon and the Classic is here to stay.

Been using it for almost a year and has never hung on me unlike my previous Samsung Note. Even my colleagues till today still complaining their Note 4 will hang. Solid device for long term usage.

It would sell more in the USA if there was press on it. I think it would sell alot better with some amount of bragging about it.
