Go to the stores. And ask for both device and try their largeness (thats all you can try) the os and speed are almost the same. But for me I'll go for Passport. Your boss and your client would respect you. The bold are now the Passport base on respect and status symbol

    I would say - passport.

While classic is nice and quite similar to bold, passport is a beast.

    best comparison would be:
open youtube gameplay video on your pc. Play it on 480p and later play it on 1080p@60 fps
passport has way better specs, is much much snappier and awesome in general.

It really depends on what you are looking for.
The passport has better ram, processor, screen.
The classic has that beautiful keyboard and physical keys.

I think longevity wise, i would go with the passport because of the hardware specs. Plus the passport does have the keyboard track pad

    Passport! I wouldn't buy a smartphone with classic specs. It's year 2015

Same money buys a LG G3 or Sony Xperia Z3 flagship

Whichever one feels comfortable. 3 row keyboard for many people is far more efficient, me included.

If you like the three row keyboard & don't mind the wide frame of the Passport, go with the Passport. I have one now but will be moving to the Classic as I can't seem to embrace the two issues mentioned above. I really miss being able to navigate a phone with one hand.

If you have small hands go for the Classic. It's a little big. Too bad the Classic doesn't have the same specifications. It lacks speed like the passport

I don't know what it is but the Classic gets 95% of my use. Passport is really an afterthought at this point. Good thing my son loves the passport!

As others have said, if you can try both do so. The Passport isn't big as you think, and I don't have big hands. The keyboard will take some time to get used to but it really works great (just use it a lot at first for practice). I've had my Passport almost 3 months and I have zero regrets. Either way hope whatever you choose works for you.

The best solution to find out is indeed to try both devices and see which one is more accurate for your use. I've been using the passport for a while now and it's an awesome and outstanding device. You want something different and innovative, hands down choose the passport but if you want something that's more familiar go with the classic.

Did not use the classic much after i got the passport, give the 3 row a while and you love it. But like others have told, all depends on what you are after in a device. For me passport win on most fronts, but that does not say it will be so for you..

Really depends on you and want you use the phone for most. If using to call, the Classic maybe feel more comfortable. If heavy texting and emails with attachments then Passport for the wide screen. I have a Passport and Q10 and I actually use and prefer the Q10 for the comfortable form and I don't have so many attachments that the texting and emails on the smaller Q keyboard is perfect. For youtube, ebooks, Passport is better and faster for web browsing.

I have the Passport and love it. However, I just got the Classic for my wife and was a bit jealous of the toolbelt because it brought back some good memories. I never felt the specs to be shortcoming on the Classic, everything is smooth and didn't notice any stutter or flicker.

If you're going to BB10 for the first time, the Classic may be better for you to transition to.

Passport is just a great device and swipe typing and screen real estate is amazing. I love having a large screen for reading articles and video is decent sized when watching you tube etc.

As much as I felt an attraction to the Classic, the Passport is just so much better IMO, but I've been on BB10 since the z10 launch!

I can add a little here. I bought and used the Classic for a week and felt like I owned it for years since the keyboard was already so familiar! I sometimes have to remember to use the trackpad lol.

I just got my Passport in on Dec 31st and have literally not put the phone down since I got it. Purely amazing device. The screen, speed, and battery life are crazy good and have blown away my expectations.

Right now I'm exactly 50/50 between the 2 and will give the Passport another few days to learn the keyboard. I also have small hands but feel right at home on the Passport's keyboard. Now I just have to learn all the gestures and shortcuts.....

I like being the odd man out and different so the Passport fits me right now. The Classic is smaller and more mainstream and that's fine too.

    Decisions, decisions....
