    Lately my Passport isn't recognizing any charger I use until I turn the device off and do a reset. Then it will charge...
    Anybody else having this issue & any long term resolutions to it?

    My passport is finicky when charging. Seems if I jiggle the usb connector it works. It's never been like this with other blackberries I've owned.

    Use the charger that come with it but change the cable. If still don't want to charge try an os reload using link.

    This is a good idea. I tried using an USB extension with the original cable and charger, the phone promptly asked me to use the original! I guess a finicky guy like myself can't complain about having a finicky phone, so I took off the extension and it charges real quick.

    I agree with siung6, my passport battery dies fast or gets really hot when not charging when I use other chargers. Even if I do it a few times. I just charge it again with the charger it comes with and it goes back to normal.

    I know after uninstalling "1mobile" my battery life went back up dramatically. Try uninstalling some android programs asap!
