Look into the ram mount x-grip. Comes in a few different sizes, even one for tablets. I use one in my car and even on my motorcycle. If it can hold my BlackBerry doing 100mph in open air you won't have any trouble with it.

I agree.
Love my ProClip setup.
Will308 came up with what he called his best setup as mentioned in the car mount thread. I tried it and agree. Check it out.

I would recommend looking at Proclip USA mounting solutions. I have been very satisfied using several of their products for several years from Bold to 9900 to PlayBook (PB) to Q10 in all of my vehicles both sedans (Lexus & Toyota) and pick-up truck (Chevrolet). Their concept is the wireless device has a holder with or without USB charger and then you choose the type of mounting method vent/console/headrest. Currently, I have the vent mount holder for the PB, yep use it almost daily by BB Bridge tethering to wireless carrier on the 9900 that is on a multi-holder device for my bride's Q10 and myself. I have ordered the Passport today and the new Proclip phone holder too. I would post the link however, I am short of ten postings to do so.
I use proclip in my Accord with my Passport. Works great!
