Yeah that can happen when the subject is moving and you don't know what setting to use for an action shot. To make it worse if you are in low light that will also make catching movement that much harder. Get your settings right and you will have a great camera. You do know there is more than just automatic setting for the camera right?

Was playing with a colleague's iPhone 6+ 64G on Friday and noticed she had some pics of her children that were blurred because of movement.
Checked and noticed that that phone has OIS also.
Maybe that tech is the cause? I think this was suggested earlier in this thread also by an engineer?
You know what I find funny though? I can't find a single thread in iMore complaining.
And my colleague doesn't seem too bothered about it at all.

OIS is the cause for movement blur of the subject because OIS lowers the camera shutter speed.
Yes apple's iphone 6+ has the same tech, and it looks like they having the same problem too.
Puts things into perspective does it?

I had the same issues like everyone else with my passport. The darn auto focus is SO slow and finicky once the face moves
But.. After looking through some apps, for $2,99CDN, Camera++ resolves everything! It's almost like turning your camera into an SLR (not completely, just close). two things missing. Continuous burst and Video. Other than that, for stills, ISO functionality and macro focusing. Camera++ did the trick. Found it in the blackberry appworld
It seems the camera works better on the 10.3.1.2267 leak. I loaded each of the leaks and found improvement on each.

Yes, I can't disagree with you there as I can definitely see the blades - blurry as usual but the same shot with an iPhone or a S5 would produce a much sharper image of the blades however there appears to be hope as I noticed the focus is a bit faster on the latest 10.3.1 leak. As stated numerous times I think the PP's camera takes fantastic shots if you have the time to set up and wait for it to focus but unfortunately life doesn't always allow you the time to do that. Hopefully, the official 10.3.1 will improve the focusing issue more.
Have you tried Camera ++ app? Their snapshot function is way better when it comes to picking up quick shots of fast moving objects. I did the same exercise as you did with a fan BUT I admit that it was outside on a sunny day.
