Seiroulsy, people who might consider PP, look at the PP photo thread. It can take amazing photos. The focus is bad that is true, but the leak seems to be adjusting part of this and the action mode make the focus lot easier. Look for good threads, not only people saying it is horrible.

But still, it seriously need fix. At least the auto focus. It hits and misses. With Camera ++ we can use the manual focus.

If the picture of the dog you posted is considered to be a good picture then I think your expectations aren't very high. I personally would rate this photo as poor and blurry quality for a 13 MB camera. As others have noted this camera takes absolutely great photos when the subject is absolutely still (people posing, buildings, landscape scenes, flowers, etc.) but just horrible if you have to focus on a moving object

Hum, it was a dark scene. No phone takes good pictures in dark scenes. PP add some clarity which is better than Iphone in dark scenes. However the focus is very slow and sometimes unacceptable. Pictures are still really good. I should have posted a picture in natural daylight and details would have been much better, obviously. Anyhow, there is a great thread for that.

Well, you just convinced this guy. One more purchased app. So far, it looks like a great app... will need lots of time with this one. If only you could change the virtual hotkeys to open this app instead of the native camera.

Although, I believe with 10.3.1 we will have the option to assign shortcuts to apps. So, problem solved. (sort of... and soon-ish... hopefully)

I've never had a BlackBerry with a good camera. My Torch had the best one and that was only 5 megapixels! The Q10's auto focus is awful. It's extremely frustrating when you're taking a close-up shot and the camera focuses great for half a second then immediately goes blurry again. The only time the camera is decent is in outside shots with plenty of sunlight. Definitely software related.

Scene: dynamic in low light (the only light was from the candle)
Software used: Camera ++ (by I&N MobiSoft).

Extra params: EV offset was set to -2.0

Some thing I found that work for me is you take a pic in video mode with continuous focus on and video stabilization on it quick and very sharp. Try it hopefully it works for you to.

Camera sucks if you have kids and wonder I keep my Passport. It's the worst camera off all with moving kids off all
bb10 phones I used.
