Here I focused on my grandma's ring. The ring is tiny and the camera had a hard time focus on it with 10.3.0. Now, point, focus, and shoot.

Hello,

I have an issue with the Passport camera. Every time I open the camera, it doesn't focus by itself, I need to tap on it (close to the camera) or move it faster to be able to focus, and even so Not always work. I tried to upgrade with the 10.3.1.2480 but it is the same behavior. Anyone has this issue too?

Its been improved for sure. But use action mode just incase

10.3.1 is faster for me

Since we don't have a benchmark level of focus, I am comparing with earlier version of build.

The auto focus has improved a lot. The improvement is on speed at which focus is achieved.
Picture quality - not sure, however I see new features Burst, timeshift in options.

I have an issue with the Passport camera. Same here, since 10.3.1 it won't focus in any mode. I have to keep tapping, maybe 1 in 10 tries it will focus. Tried 2480 as well, same problem.

I find the auto-focus to be much faster now... that is the only improvement they really needed to make in my opinion. Other than that, it was capable of taking great pictures already.

If you are scared of the screen flicker, don't be. It was terrible and annoying and I waited and waited for the official update in hopes that they would have fixed it. It was still there though. I installed the leaked 'update files' and it's been working like a charm ever since.

Definitely worth it. And I, for one, will not hesitate to download future leaks.
