I order my passport from amazon on Saturday, and when it came it came with an EU charger. I am on Tmobile here in the US. It works on the network, but I have noticed odd mms issues and low signal strength. Is there a chance my phone isn't meant for US tmobile?

As far as I understand the phone should work with tmobile fine. All the unlocked passports are world phones if you will. I would recommend secure erasing and reinstalling os. At boot hook up to local WiFi so it knows what country to dl latest update to and should work fine. Pop your sim in and check again.

Thanks, and sorry about that. I was posting from the app on my phone, and it was just "spinning" so i assumed it failed.

It all loaded up fine and everything. I know phones list the bands they support, so i am hoping they are the same on the international version vs the US version. It says the model number is sqw100-1, and supports UMTS bands 1,2,4,,5,6,8 and LTE bands 1,2,3,4,5,7,8,13,17,20. Does that seem right for US use?

I have the same model number with the same bands (though I did receive the US charger which I don't use). I use the Playbook Charger with my Passport.

My phone has been Rock Solid on T-Mobile in the US.

Yeah I love that the Passport has all of the bands in it unlike other models; especially the Z30 with no real option for full LTE on AT&T. The SQW100-1 is all you need. If it's the square Passport it has all of the bands needed and is a "world phone". Not sure exactly what bands the AT&T version has, but have read it has all for T-Mobile as well.

Last month I ordered my Passport from Amazon, and from Amazon not from a reseller, the few dollars difference didn't really bother me, as well as getting it in two days. It did come with a US/CDN charger and with US warranty. The phone works perfectly with both my AT&T and TMO accounts.

I received a Passport from Amazon today. Seller was actually Wireless Hub but through the amazon website. I also got the EU charger but they sent along an adapter for US outlets. I have another charger to use so not a big deal. I'll pick up a spare charger for work & save the EU charger for travel.

I'll get the phone hooked up to a carrier in a couple of weeks & hopefully it will work fine.
