I got syncing on my Q10 sorted out with iCloud contacts but iCal was always problematic. As a life-long Mac user this is one place the iPhone really shines. Of course it integrates with Apple's i-ecosystem perfectly. I'm hoping iCal support will be included in BB10.3 and the Passport. So what's the current status of iCal and BB10? Are folks still going through Google Calendar to get it sorted?

Can't speak for iCloud, but bb10 works perfectly fine with Google's Calendar and Outlook Calendar for me.

BB10 works fine with only one Google cal for account. Shared calendars are pain in *** on BB!

I hate going through Google Calendar as it can mis-format appointments, change fields, etc. And I've found that sometimes it drops Notes included in an appointment. Same thing with contacts and labels. I have numbers with contacts listed as "main" and Google insists on re-labeling them as "other."

I use Gmail and Google calendar and it syncs perfectly on my iMac PC's and on my z30.

I was using it about a year ago and it *mostly* worked. But every now and then some items would fail to sync. I'd look at iCal and think, "Gee, I know I have something scheduled for Tuesday...". It was on my BlackBerry but missing from iCal. Not all the time, and I never figured out why, but it happened enough to trouble me. Hence my using an iPhone now.

I just setup an iCloud calendar on my BlackBerry Z30 and it works flawlessly. I have a sick relative I am taking care of (she has an iPhone 5s) and being able to manage her calendar from my BlackBerry is a huge time saver.

When she missed an important appointment on Friday because she was double booked (no one knew about the second appointment) that was when I set it up. Literally all I had to put in was her iCloud e-mail address and password, the rest setup automatically. I wish I had done this weeks ago.

That's what I was HOPING to hear! It *should* work natively as both BlackBerry and Apple support CalDAV. However, with Apple you can never be sure. They've been known to do some hocus-pocus behind the scenes monkey business in defense of the i-ecosystem.

My BB passport does not work well yet with Ical mac? I either get multiple events, no events etc. What is the bet way to handle this. I have a MacPro,iPad and now my passport?

iCal does work on BB10, and has been working long before 10.3 (I have a Q10). I'm a Mac user and I rely on iCal and the Mac Contacts app, both synced through my iCloud account to my Q10. I haven't had any issues with either of those.
