    Hi all,

I'm currently on software release but since trying all the previous builds for 10.3.1. I've noticed really bad battery life of 1 half days and no improvement since the previous or newest build.

Since before and after I've tried re loading previous OS, wiping device, re loading original Rogers OS and then upgrading to this build to fix all the ongoing flicker issues msg issues etc, but my battery is still with a day half of usage. I barely play games and use it for day to day BBM txt msg emails pictures etc.
Also I have never been alerted thru link or OTA for any new Rogers builds if they are available for the passport? Is their a new Rogers build for passport certified out there?
Can anyone please guide me to a better more stable build for 10.3.xxxx that will have good battery life? Is their any good app that anyone could recommend that will keep battery life stronger? I have denied in app setting run in background turned off.

Well funny is that after hard reset it said battery life 3 days but the next day it dropped back to day and half. I've done a few rests and played the waiting game fo it to settle but nothing still. I really don't think anything I've done will help.

Some OS I've experienced takes a few days to settle. And noticed better battery life. Maybe you should wait a longer when installing a new OS

Which os are you on? I can't get through the day without having the done on savemode all the time. Also losing mobile data half the time. On the leaked os 10.3.2

Although "letting the OS settle" or other voodoo magic stuff might work for some people, it also has to be some hardware variation too.

Right now I have a red and black passport, trying to decide which one I'm going to keep. They're both used, so there's some uncertainty in terms of how much the hardware was used.

With that said, the black one has absolutely phenomenal battery life, while this red one is definitely not as good. And this red one has no Google services or android apps on it while the black one has everything. I would think the android apps and what not would kill the battery more.

So at the end of the day, you're probably doing everything in your power, but your hardware might not play nice compared to someone else's.

I tend to have this view because I overclock computers and that gives you a first hand understanding of the silicon/hardware lottery. I might be wrong though.
