I have Blackberry Passport which is on SW and OS which is constantly getting update nag for the same version with 85MB update size. I've downgraded Dalvik runtime back in the day which allowed me to remove unused Android apps. So, my questions are:

    1) Is it safe to run this update? I assume that my downgraded Dalvik will be replaced, so the bug will come back as it wants to update only this part of OS, am I right?

    2) After running update, is there another possibility to fix Dalvik other than downgrade? I saw that link about fix on BBWorld, but it had in description "10.2" software, is it applicable for me?

Sorry for questions, I just love my Passport and don't wanna brick it. Oh, and that update nag is so annoying!

    Thank you in advance.

The update is there to "update" your Android runtime to the broken version that shipped with And yes, the fix for it is to get the version in BlackBerry World; it should have a 10.3.2.xxx version number regardless what the description says. Or, go to 10.3.3.

Ok, updated then applied fix from BlackBerry World. Android runtime and removing apps seems to work without problems. Thank you.
