It's a shame that they don't even come out and let us know where this latest updates stands. I realize the Android is the future of BlackBerry as they have made it clear with their actions. I'm glad to see the are aggressive with the updates & security patches for android but I wish they would still give BB10 the attention it deserves. Also Mr. Chen why did you not speak with the whatsapp people and see if you could not find a common ground with them on keeping whatsapp on BB10? Hey Mr. Chen why not tell us what is going on with this update and the future of BB10! Rocking 24-7 with my Passport SE & Semi Retired Z10

From everything we have heard to date, a 10.3.3. update will not introduce new features and will basically fix some current bugs. The impact on day-to-day use for the consumer is not known. Why then are so many people clamouring for it?

I don't think anyone cares what is in the update. They just want the update because it is an UPDATE. It's Human nature - New and improved stuff, limited time offering. Special edition. Etc.

It is supposed to contain security fixes / improvements along with bug fixes. I am baffled every time I read, on a BlackBerry forum no less, people questioning why BB10 users might get excited about security fixes.

Is that not the raison d'etre for BlackBerry? Why else are people using BB10 phones? Not for the extensive app library, I think.

Above and beyond the actual meat of the 10.3.3 update, people are IMHO losing patience or have already lost it, with Chen et al and their empty promises of ongoing BB10 support and committment. We want proof of that support, evidence of that committment, rather than just more hollow words.

That is why I believe people are clamouring for 10.3.3.
