I can scroll from the Hub to the main page...i was going to post a screenshot but that wouldn't really prove it since you could take it scrolling either way.

I meant sideways scrolling from HUB to main page using your keyboard. The person was concerned cause they couldn't do that. You can scroll using the touch screen though

    440 or 516?

Anyone tried both or there average battery life, I installed 10.3.2.516 and receive average 16 hours medium usage.

Main reason for updating was they said blur was reduced on camera and they certainly DELIVERED!

I have two boys, the difference is impressive. This is the best camera on a BlackBerry so far!!

Android apps run much smoother, phone is cooler in general, battery life is great, but then again I never had battery issues with 10.3.1

Those are software releases. The OSes are 680 and 798 respectively. OS # is used most of the time here on CB for reference

When you swipe up from the home screen and your notification icons pop up, the date finally shows at the top of the screen. I wish there was a way to enable it all the time, especially with all of the screen real estate the Passport has but I suppose this is a decent compromise.

Especially considering the camera focus is quite improved.

Is there an autoloader for 680 for the passport, or just 798?

I noticed google play music is a bit more glitchy after the update. Volume when notifications come in are low and system volume also goes low after exiting app. Doesn't do this all the time but every so often enough that it makes it annoying. Might delete the app and reinstall. I guess it's a given that Android apps would run glitchy after an OS update.

And I'm not sure if you read the thread first - it's been posted and discussed several times.

Why even post this? He obviously didn't read the thread beforehand, and he was just posting what he thought was insightful. Maybe he was in a rush? You should have done like I did and just ignored his post.

Thanks for your suggestion. But no, I choose my own path in life.

Notice how I didn't suggest to you that you should have done what I did, and call out posts that repeat previous posts?

AND notice how you didn't just ignore my post ( intended as a tongue in cheek poke with my version of sharp edged wit) and move along?

    Goose / gander.

Search CB for auto loaders in the forums, follow the instructions. Back up everything first with either Link or Back Up Pro app.

What you have heard is correct, OS 10.3.2.680 has been officially released for factory unlocked Passports (and other devices), while OS 10.3.2.798 was released for the Classic.

There's supposedly not much difference between the two, and battery life is generally hard to gauge due to differences in how many accounts you have synchronized with your device, what you do with your phone on a daily basis, network coverage, and other variables. Some users have reported higher than expected battery drain on their Passports with the latter OS version while others reported no difference.

Install whichever one you want, keeping in mind that if 10.3.2.798 doesn't perform to your liking you can downgrade to 10.3.2.680 - but you can't downgrade to any versions prior to that.

In location services you have a place to input your home address and work address.... not sure if this is new or not but it is the first time I noticed it. Not even sure what it's for... maybe it ties into maps or something...

Was already in previous versions. I'm pretty sure it allows you to use Home and Work as commands for the Assistant for example.
