Ooh I am in the same boat, just been calling them and no answer! Ironically for a phone shop its hard to get in touch with them. Been trying to throw my money at someone for the past 2 days and no ones having it lol. So hows the passport treating you?

Not exclusive, the cpw website said available from Fri. Thats how I knew to hassle them for it.

BTW, the BB rep should be reading this out anew and maybe talk to the POI people, so that they really are more cautious on how they deal with clients, especially when it is about returning a brand new faulty flagship phone...!

Update on Selfridges.
Visited Birmingham store this morning. 9:30ish
BlackBerry rep had gone and taken demo device with him Friday. So could buy but not try. BlackBerry passport appeared to be only phone in shop?
Seemed better idea to just try CPW.
OP sorry but how many gig/min u get from CPW on 30.50 plan?
Offer I saw was 79 for phone with 4Gb data think unlim calls. Had deals under 30 per month too 1gb and less.

Yeah mine was a free phone and I got 600 minute unlimited messages and 1gb of data. But I'm giving this plan to my mum and she is going to use it as currently she is on pay as you go.

I already have a contract with way more data etc so will continue to use that and just sell the phone I had with that to make some monies.

You will not be disappointed. Some people have noted a lack of responsiveness on the screen and keyboard. This happened to me but I quickly realised it was due to the way I was holding it. For example, if part of your hand is touching the screen, you'll have difficulty tapping another on screen button. This is not unusual and is in keeping with other touch screens. I simply educated myself to make use of the handy steel band around the device. Similarly, swiping a word up with the left hand is not gonna happen if you've got your right thumb resting on the keyboard. It really is just a matter of familiarising yourself with the phone. Since this is the first phone with a capacitive keyboard, we're all newbies lol.

I'm certainly not going to pay the price those third-party resellers are trying to get right now, that's for sure! Hahaha...

If the price stays at $599 when they are taking orders again, I won't be too much above in-contract pricing after the gift cards are factored in. I would have bought the device at full price, but this option makes the deal too sweet to pass up. Plus, I won't have to wait for AT&T to release updates at their latest convenience...
