Unlocked-Mobiles has it for even cheaper than ShopBlackBerry UK!

Order it from Unlocked-Mobiles, it's cheaper than ShopBB!

Edit: I cancelled my order an hour ago, so you might be lucky if you're quick!

I got it for �440 delivered from ShopBB so I'm waiting for them to get back to me and say when it will be back in stock before I cancel and pay more.

Same with me, paid in euros and ordered 2 hours after release, got an email half an hour ago saying they're out over stock!

Because I got an order confirmation from the UK website this morning, but no tracking info yet. As far as I can tell there was no mention of stock issues for me. I paid in Euros as well, and I kind of expected them to change/correct their price to be honest...

Same here, had a confirmation email and then they sent the out of stock message. No response so far on when it might come back in.
They have helpfully said they will keep hold of my money until it comes back in, so that is nice of them

Indeed. Makes it seem like they had no stock in the beginning. Be nice to head from customers that have had theirs shipped from shop BlackBerry

I ordered from shopblackberry UK, initially quoted a price of GBP 529. As I live in Italy, I switched to Euros and found the price was the same in EUR. Got final order confirmation EUR 555 (533 for phone + 22 shipping). Unfortunately, it's on back order, so will just have to be patient (fingers drumming a hole in the table!) and in the meantime live the Passport experience vicariously through the forums

Although there's a slight marketing advantage in being able to say you're sold out, it only really works if you are absolutely certain that anyone looking will come back later and get one. Otherwise you're turning away sales.

For BlackBerry, launching a flagship handset, it's quite unlikely they'll get lots and lots of coverage that it's sold out, in the way the iPhone does with vastly higher numbers. So the likely reality is that although inventory will he quite low anyway so they don't have useless stock, demand really has been higher than they anticipated.

And that's good.

2) order confirmation
3) product on backorder.

sigh. oh well.
