I get around 12-15 hour average on 2876, with heavy usage.(No games/ android apps). The standby battery drain is worse!
I read that OS 2813 provides the best battery backup, so was trying to revert back to that OS, need suggestions from you people before that.

Used to use that version, the battery life wasn't impressive either, I don't game, I mainly just use the phone texting emailing, and occasionally downloading videos, and I turn android apps off when idle. Still the 3000+ battery can barely get through a day(a day and half if light use), BB10 's battery management is awful.

Dont trust any bs here. You can go read the 2876 thread and find many people going back to 2813 for better battery life. My SE is using 2813 waiting for June update. I would call PP battery life outstanding with my moderate use. I do have some droid apps loaded but not the Play store. Im curious why you cant find the cause for your battery drain. You have heavy use, towers can really wreak havoc on a phone if you travel around even in a 30 miles radius. I have noticed that since 2011 on Palm hardware. att crappy towers suck

Can you make your phone last a 2 day average with 2813? I used to use that version but I still didn't get what I was expecting from a 3000+ battery.

All I can tell you is the phone says 3 days of battery left at 100 percent charge. Maybe we can find some women to chime in on the battery life.

That's what mine says too... that's not accurate BTW, it just calculates your usage in the past hour and works out a time for you, it immediately changes if you start using the phone. Once I unplugged my charger and it said I had 3days to go, then I started Web browsing and downloading stuff, and the battery went to 45% in like 2-3 hours.

OS 2813 Vs 2876, which has the best battery life?-img_20160601_184043.png
Check this out, this seems normal for me except for the system and standby time, which took a whopping 44% and 22% respectively, in the last 48 hours! Just did the 3rd full charge in 48 hours now and was sleeping after taking off from charger, and it took 3% in 1 hour 30 mins.

And these are the only apps I use, and I use WhatsApp, browser, emails and calls, a lot!, but none of them is showing up with high battery intake in the device monitor.

Thanks, and thats exactly like what I'm experiencing! And I read 2813 has the best battery backup. Just wanted to get a clear info before loading the OS. You can maybe load the OS 2813 and start fresh, and see if there's any changes this time, and reduce the number of android apps usage on that OS because all I know from the last 4 years of BlackBerry 10 experience, android apps are like a virus, it bogs down the system and takes up a lot of juice.

Typically, I have about 30-40% left when I plug it in overnight after a full day and evening. So that after 16 hours of daily use, I still have 30-40% left. I am a low to moderate user.

2813 was the best OS before Chen purposely screwed up 2876 and didn't do a thing to fix it the right way for months.

I'm sticking with 2813 for battery life and for the Android run time. Nr advised that once you upgrade to 10.3.3 you won't be able to come back to 2813.

I sure as hell don't trust Chen enough to install 10.3.3 after the crap he pulled with 2876

You can be Chenned once but don't be fooled again.

The only bad thing I noticed in 2876 during the hour of running it and looking at was amazon app store Droid apps. When a Droid app was uninstalled it appeared gone but amazon thought it was still installed. I couldn't stop it from thinking the app was still there. Not sure what ramification this would have on updates for those apps either. That is why I went back to 2813. Plus I know the play store would work the best on 2813 if I load it....which I haven't!

That's because it never was uninstalled successfully. BlackBerry released a fix for the Android runtime, and an update was available for everyone on BlackBerry World.

Go to this web page with your device browser and download the ART update. Close it out then immediately re-boot your device and give it 10 minutes or so before attempting to check your android apps: Unable to uninstall Android applications after updating to BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.3.2

For the most part, I tend to handle my Passport SE lightly due to heavier usage of Blackberry Blend on my desktop (where I do more work), so I can usually go from 7:00 a.m. on Day 1 to 11:00 p.m. on Day 2 with approximately 56% battery left, with no charging in between.

I noticed that when my usage increases to more moderate use, then I'm left with about 50% battery juice after 2 days of not being on the charger. The other day, I used my phone more heavily for 2 days, which during that time, I installed and uninstalled apps, read e-mails, text messages, etc. -- and by the time 11:00 p.m. rolled around on the 2nd day, I was left with 30% battery juice. I'm thinking that if I really worked through my phone (i.e., browser, many more phone calls, answering e-mails) and less on my desktop, then I'd probably get through 1 day (maybe 25 - 30% left after Day 1) and would have to charge again at night.

BTW, I'm using OS 2876, and I do have Google Play Store installed, along with a few android apps that aren't used every day. However, I noticed that my battery drainage sort of resembles @jevinzac's experience above -- most of my battery drainage doesn't come from the apps. Mine shows that it comes from 'Display', 'System', 'Standby', and 'PIM Services'.

Well it is no secret that when all is running fairly well, the display is always the largest power consumer.

Yes and when I did go to the runtime which we are only to install if we have a problem...it didnt work. It also caused something else I didnt like to happen so I went back. I hope this problem is resolved in the new update. the BBworld runtime is supposed to repair a problem not make things worse. I may have not given the system enough time though. ??????????????????????????
