Dadaaaaaa, same old story as the Q10 launch, no stock, nobody knows what's going on, well down BlackBerry, pathetic company who clearly hasn't learned it's lesson.

I would recommend calling there head office and demand answers from these bunch of low life's.

I think Optus is the issue not rim/blackberry as Optus called out that the device would be available from 15th in store. BlackBerry/rim has had no statement around an October release. Only end of year release in Oz.

A carrier doesn't make a release date without confirming when the stock will arrive. They must have confirmed a date of supply with BB.

Last time it was due to BlackBerry not supplying the stock per the agreed release date.
I would be inclined to believe it is the same issue, but would be happy to be proven wrong.

BB is in charge of BB AU, and by all rights they should have fired the BB AU CEO who was parachuted into the position from being the marketing director. John needs to do some house cleaning down here, not just up in Waterloo.

Has anyone actually confirmed that the BlackBerry Passport has entered the country let alone have rumours dictate what's happening?

It is in their pricing lists

Available within the next two weeks in store (should have been in store by now...but obviously that failed)

What I have learned is that you should always buy outright. In the long haul it is cheaper and freedom comes with it. I can't afford it, but that is what I do.

Options are there for business owners as well. Depends on your Tax benefits....ask your accountant the best way to do it.

Yatango and Thinkofus, if you read their estimated delivery times, they seem like it will arrive in 2 weeks, surprising it may take the same amount of time if purchased from overseas.

Also thinkofus does not have a decent reputation, look at their ebay rating.

Amaysim will be charging $950 (when you actually try to buy it, it changes from $850 to $950) for the Blackberry Passport.

I'm just going to wait for Optus to stock it.

Just had a chat with amaysim live chat online, and they said they are expecting delivery on the 5th of november, outright only, pricing to be announced when it becomes available. the entire conversation took less than 2 minutes, so quick and efficient. optus could learn a thing or 2!

a32m, how did you find those prices with amaysim? could you post the link? thanks!

BlackBerry Passport | amaysim Mobile Shop

    There's amaysim's link

Amaysim's retailer is Mobicity, who are Yatango. Yatango are selling for cheaper than amaysim. This could get very confusing.
