Looks like Amazon is the way to go then! Fast delivery + the Rs. 5 K Gift card and 5 JP miles!! Surprising that local vendors don't have stock but Amazon seems to have plenty.

One Day Delivery! Amazon rocks. My suggestion to all, even I had prebooked and cancelled. Rebooked as a fresh order. Luckily my prebooking was COD so I did not have much trouble.

Yes.. And if you pay through HDFC Card, 10% Cash back upto 2500 INR. So technically its coming to 39thousand Change... (5K Amazon Gift Card, 5K JP Miles which someone told me is worth 3K INR and 2.5K HDFC Cash Back).... Its a WIN WIN deal on Amazon.

Just bought mine, given 5000 jet Airway miles and 5000 worth of amazon coupon it did cost me apx 40000.

People having sbi card did have 5000 cash back,( I didn't use it and opted amazon)

Given I utilize both above frequently

It's better to read, but not to watch movies. You get a black bar on the top and bottom of the screen, so you're really looking at a smaller picture than a Z10.

There isn't much you can do about watching a 16:9 movie on a 1:1 screen. There was a time when it was considered "sophisticated" if you watched your movies in letterbox (black bands on a 4:3 screen) rather than pan & scan. If the os fix is to present some type of auto pan & scan forget it -- I'll stick with 16:9. But I didn't really buy the Passport for watching movies anyway...

Do you think if the passport was priced $850 in US.then they would have been able to sell even 1/4th of that number . If you think so.. then I am afraid you love blackberry too much to see the reality.
    1. BlackBerry passport is the first BlackBerry phone being sold at a premium in U.S in 4 years.
    2. I got a Q 10 for 44 k about a year and half ago and I don't regret it a bit. I have a 5s, s3 and a Sony xperia. Q10 outstrips these by miles.
    3. I now have a passport that I bought IN india for 50k. No regrets at all!!!! I would take a 50 k BlackBerry over a 60k iPhone any given day simply because of the technology it has to offer.....
So yes I do love my BlackBerry too much. I see the reality. BlackBerry all the way....

You're actually getting almost the same size as the Z10 for the screen across! (don't believe me? Hold one across sideways and see for yourself )
Also the black bars are NOT noticeable and I speak from experience!
