I agree - they've dug their own coffin. A 35k price would be sweet - this is insanity. Coming from a guy who paid 44500 INR on the first day for a z10 - once bitten twice shy. Been carrying a BlackBerry since 2008, but I guess this is the first year when I won't be buying a BlackBerry - the other flagships make more sense and you get them for a lot cheaper.

You just proved the pricing strategy correct. You paid 44500 for a Z10!! A Passport blows a Z10 out of the water. It looks like BlackBerry did the right thing on pricing.. especially since they have pre-manufactured so few.. Like the z30 It'll come down a bit but not if you want to be one of the first...

If you are talking about amazon gift card and JP miles then it's still there.

Amazon.in has it in stock. Not sure about the stores. It has a rating of 4.2 out of 5 which is very good. So hoping this time it doesn't go out of stock but sells well just like last time

Difficult to tell if it's doing well on Amazon. It's on the top 50 best seller in smart phones category and 200 in electronics.

Stores are slowly getting replenished in the last day or so. There were about 4000 units delivered to India since beginning of November

Kind of surprised with the nexus pricing. Was expecting it to be more expensive since it has the same price as an iPhone 6 (649$) and the iPhone sells for 53,500. Was expecting the nexus to be around 50,000 but 44000 is surprising!

The Passport was in stock in Croma stores in India a few days ago. Guess what? They sold out all of the phones they had in stock. Amazing.

It's interesting to note that Amazon has had almost continuous stock since the launch. They only ran out for a bit in between but the stock got replenished quickly.

Yet most stores in Bombay do not have stock.

Wonder what BB is up to!

It's something that u r not used to, so it will definitely take time. But with all the swipe gestures that the keyboard supports I feel you will pick it up very well.

Agreed. I almost sold my passport after using for 10 days. But after using iPhone for few hours I realised it's not worth and now I am loving it even more.

No problem at all. You won't get warranty but everything else will be the same.

I've even heard the Passport is available in the grey market for ~ Rs. 40 K so that might be an option as well.
