BB10 launched with Android runtime. In fact, the Passport had Android runtime.
The PlayBook had an Android runtime. It has been around since the beginning.

They have not dropped BB10. I don't know why people keep saying that. Its totally speculation. They have tons of business and governments on bb10 and it isn't going away any time soon.

This is 100% true. Do people actually think that banks, government, investment bankers, spy agencies, and other high-security organisations are just going to go over to an Android device that is completely monitored by Google? This is laughable. BlackBerry will have to support BB10 for many more years.

Perhaps BB10 will become a corporate-only OS, but there has to exist ONE in the world that is actually secure.

Can you imagine the Chancellor of Germany being handed an Android device to use?! Here you go.... Google is watching you....

I don't believe they really have any preference between Google or BlackBerry owning their data, knowing that Google already does.

True, but all they really have to do is support calling, email, and texting. If that's all you ever do with your smartphone then there should be no problem.

Amazon app store is always there too. Soo many choices and great work arounds. In the end for many it's really a app permissions problem. Not necessarily an app not available.

Sorry. I don't agree to your terms and demands. DELETE.
