One handed texting option: NOT RECOMMENDED FOR DRIVING!

I bought my Passport yesterday and I was extremely hesitant due to the fact that I will not be able to text with one hand. However, I'm sure there are other users who have figured it out, simply rotate your Passport 90 degrees where the keyboard is on the same side as your preferred hand for texting. Now the keyboard is on its side and it is not ideal but it does make it possible. Anyone with proper typing skills will be able to maneuver with little difficulty. This sentence was typed with one hand!!

But remember, 10 and 2!!

Interesting idea. Just tried it -- it would take some practice, but may be doable for some.

You shouldn't be texting and driving at all. Not with one hand, one finger, one toe, the tip of your nose, nothing. Stop being a road hazard.

Neither the OP or I were recommending or condoning texting while driving. But there are other cases where it may be useful.

Just in case, I tweaked the title a little.

We're good.

Yeah... I've tried this already... two issues, there is no on screen keyboard while its rotated, so no numbers or symbols can be typed. And, it tends to scroll as you move your fingers across the keys. Not to mention the mind puzzle of using a keyboard sideways.

It definitely works, but wasn't really designed for this.
