I can eat a steak with one hand. It's more sloppy and it takes me a bit longer; I definitely don't look very classy while I am doing it... I can do it though!
I feel the same about one handed typing on the Passport. It's really not meant to be used that way. When I do only have one hand free, the voice-to-text feature is far more efficient for me.

To avoid pressing the shift key, you can do a long press on a key to make a capital letter.
To access symbols, you slide down on keyboard and can either tap on the screen or on the keyboard which matches the symbols.

For me the one handed typing is less about the width, but the inbalance.

The video does show that one hand typing is possible.

This is exactly how I've held and used my Passport from day one. So glad someone posted a video.

It's hard to tell from the video , but he seems to have large hands.

More acrobatics are required when the person is left handed, especially to press the return key.

Wow this is some serious gymnastics for my hands but works!

Awesome video. I don't have big hands (only 6 ft tall). I can't even reach the R key without the phone tipping over... cool that some can!

Hmmm, i am right handed, but usually one hand my phone with the left hand, because if i have to use the phone with one hand my dominant hand is doing something else.

Not possible. I can do it with my Q10, but the Passport? There's just no way.

Well done...but looks like a balancing act. Wouldn't want to try on a busy street or train. Think it's just easy to use two thumbs and sit down or stand where there are no people around to knock that $499-$599 investment onto the ground.
