The update is only ota for the z30 at the moment. The rest of the devices will get the update till the end of month

Please note that this update is for all blackberry devices, and addressing the issue of low volume notification and screen flickering on passport.

I did it with no issue and notification volume issue is fixed.

Installed it on my Passport from the leak section and all is well here as well.

It was released at the same time. 10.3.1.2558 is on the BlackBerry servers right now for all devices. It's up to the carriers to green light.

The carriers may have prioritised the Z30 because of the fully discharged battery / black screen of death bug.

Bought mine from ShopBB and can't see the update for my PP. Pulled SIM and hard reset twice and still can't see it. Doesn't appear that it is available for PP unless I am missing something. I am not experiencing any of the issues some are having on the PP with 10.3.1 but thought I would try and update for the benefit of others.

Justcause we have, use, love BB doesn't mean we know autoloader or blitz just by name. (Those name kept being spit out but no one was saying where to find and how to do).

So, you define "official" as "OS has completely propagated to all shopblackberry models and devices"?

I think it is more reasonable to define official when it BEGINS rolling out. Otherwise android lollipop won't be official for at least another year.

I have a unlocked Passport bought through Amazon. I certainly don't wait till any OS is released through Link (not OTA) or when AT&T decides to make it available, especially when the Official OS fixes issues. Updates are rarely if ever released for all carriers and all phones at once. Releases are staggered over days and weeks. If a person chooses to wait then they should just be patient and be content with their choice.

It is fundamentally the same, but there are differences, such as virtual keyboard for touch devices and 1:1 aspect ratio for pkb devices and also a slightly different one for the passport due to screen res and capacitive keyboard. Some device has to be first. To expect all os versions to have an update finished simultaneously by the software teams would be an incredible fluke. So the Z30 got it first? Big deal.
