Should I switch?
I had a blackberry back in the day, and then moved over to android. The passport makes me consider switching back. I like how big it is. Would love your experiences with it as a fellow "switcher." I think moving from one platform to another it totally different to just upgrading your phone.

Well just over a day in, and I have already wiped my old LG G2 and listed it for sale on ebay, I am that confident that the Passport is going to do the job for me.
I can't lie, the fact it runs Android apps is massively important for now. As Blackberry World is a bit threadbare in a lot of ways. In terms of apps looking great and sheer choice of free apps anyway. But, the Hub is nice and simple to use, the security features are much more indepth than Android of course also. The screen so far, is brilliant. The G2 obviously has a higher/similar ppi count, but this one still surprises me with how good things look on it, and coming from Android, you'd be surprised how many Android apps look brilliant on the Passport. I actually reckon you could use the Passport as an Android device so to speak really. As long as you remember to use the options to remove the nav bar and zoom out also. It really helps make the transition easier to have familiar apps around.
The keyboard is nice, slowly getting used to it after a few hiccups earlier on but the finger placement for holding it is developing nicely. Camera is the same as the G2 i believe, but is a little bit more hit and miss in the quality of the shots, but generally it is more than good enough really.
Battery is probably too early to tell, but, so far it has been off charge for about 30 hours, and is now at 10% left. And that includes lots of meddling with the phone as it is a new toy, and installing apps, setting them up etc. Very impressive start.
edit - The lack of notifications form the PayPal Android app is frustrating. But, I presume if I go down the Play Services route I can sort that. Was hoping it would just work mind.

Just got mine from Amazon. Can't wait to set it up. I like the weight and the size. I am really glad to have a real keyboard again, sick to death of touch screen virtual keyboards.

I was an Android user for the last 5 years. I use to use a blackberry few years ago for work but nothing since then. I never manage to feel comfortable with virtual keyboard. So I decided to give BlackBerry another try. I got my Passport for 3 days right now and even if I little bit lost with the OS, I feel way more efficient writing email and text message. I didn't manage to find all apps I was using on Android but it will be less distraction and more productivity

Ordered from Amazon on Monday. Arrived overnight on Tuesday. Took to T-Mobile store on Wednesday to get a nano sim card. They charged me $10 and in 2 minutes everything was up and running! Everything works. Cannot go back to the Q10 now because this thing is so much faster.

Got mine yesterday and finished setting it up this evening. Not taking as much getting used to as I thought. Loving having keyboard shortcuts again (last time was when I had a 9800). Scrolling using the keyboard is still freaking me out though! LOL jk!
