My biggest concern with the Passport in general and hopefully the SE is better is the regular Passport, is how well the phone is handled in the hands.

I have heard from some that it's harder to hold than a normal sized phone, which leads to drops. As a Blackberry fan who loves the look of their phones naked, I can't fathom the thought of my phone smashing.

Currently a Q10 user but debating on the SE vs Classic. From those who have had other Blackberry's, do you find your dropping the Passport more often?

Funny enough so far the size has prevented me from dropping it. You can get a good grip on it with all that real estate. And me not having a case has me trained to put it away in a pocket. No drops for a few months.

Does SE support HD voice? I don't see the HD icon while talking to wife.

Yes it does. Depends on carrier though I believe. I see the icon sometimes bottom left on the call screen.

I went for the standard Passport yesterday, after wanting to wait for the Priv. Similar thinking, but I really love the screen/design of it. I think I will go for the Priv in a few weeks too, I have to try it out. Will keep it if I like it, Passport is definately here to stay.

I got my Passport SE on Friday. Found a guy selling one on kijiji that he only had for 3 weeks. Sold my OG Passport yesterday. I am loving this version a lot better. My fingers are just flying across the keyboard. This is an awesome device.

I received my Passport SE few hours ago.
Aesthetically perfect.

My only concern is putting the phone on its back without a case. Will it damage the camera like on the iPhone 6 ?

The Passport SE Camera has a stainless steel brim protecting the lens glass and it appears the Iphone 6 lens is protected by some very scratch-resistant sapphire.

Not much to worry about, but as always, a protective case is recommended.

On closer inspection, the rim on the SE isn't pronounced enough to protect the glass. A case is the best option.

I got back from the Middle East a couple of days ago and opened my Silver Edition along with the free accessories that came with it. I have to say the Silver Edition is a very beautiful handset and there are no blemishes on my phone like what other people in here have stated about.

I went to Cricket to get my Silver Edition started on service along with bringing my wife's Galaxy Note 5 and son's iPhone 6s to get them off of Verizon. The manager in Cricket was so excited when he saw my Silver Edition he stated it was like Christmas Day for him.

I just got a Passport Silver Edition yesterday and I must say I'm very impressed so far. I have the OG for work, and I notice a huge improvement in the softness of the keyboard and the back of the phone feels much nicer when I'm holding it.

Still adjusting to the app gap after using a Note 4, but so far there's not much about the switch that I regret. I can see sticking with this phone for quite a long time.

Finally got an SE after owning a OG and ATT passport....passport back to my daily driver after purchasing a Priv on the 6th and found the SE yesterday on CL for a great price with 6 cases.....this phone is awesome

Just got my Passport SE last Tuesday to replace my Black Passport. This is definitely a better device than the OG Passport. The slight improvements on the chin, rounded corners, better keyboard, made the SE Passport better all around.

Blackberry 9000 - Gold Q10 - SE Passport

This is 4th try at making PP a full time device. My Avatar is from the OG PP, which I bought week 1. I returned that due to discomfort with keyboard and corners. I got the SE when it came out and it smoked the OG regarding comfort, but I was getting a lot of screen lift on upper right and returned it. Tried a White PP to see if I was just being too sensitive regarding the keyboard, but realized I was correct the first time.
Bought the Priv and returned it. I don't want my opinion of that phone to influence your opinion of that phone.
Now I'm back on the SE and the battery life is amazing as it was the first time. The comfort is there and I actually use Blend in the office and on my home laptop.
Side note : I have a habit of hitting the side of the PP on a table to show people just how strong the phone is. I've done it dozens of times with no issues. When I was returning my Priv at ATT store, I had the SE with me and I showed the salesperson. I broke off a chip of the plastic ATT table. The phone had a laugh along with the salesman and myself.

Can anyone give a subjective speed increase on the Passport over the Z30? If am considering the Passport SE, but I am curious to its performance with respect to Android apps as I do run several that are important to me.

I ordered mu SE Passport the first week it was available. Rock solid device. Had one small warranty issue, but would take it any day over my old IOS or Android devices.
