Did you cut the screen protector down to fit the SE?

No

Day two with the SE and I just love the feel of the keyboard, huge improvement! The sound quality is phenomenal compared to my red PP just overall a more full rich sound.

If you're on the fence about this phone, believe me you won't be sorry if you decide to buy. It's totally refined!

The Ghost Armor staff custom cut the screen protector film from a blank sheet of the material.
After 5 days use it I find it much more pleasurable to work with. For one, I don't feel like im going to drop it.
The phone is great. No doubt about it. I like it better than the Passport Black because of the keyboard and general construction. Screen may be nicer, too.
But I learned one thing the hard way--there's no way (that I know of) to get the 10.3.2.859 radio for Passport to run on the SE. I wanted the 859 radio for better battery life and also because there is one Android program I have that depends upon the fact that the 859 radio doesn't recognize NFC at all--a defect in the radio, perhaps, but good for me, since I don't use NFC.
First I did a nondestructive load of 859 via Sachesi. It soft bricked the phone.
I then autoloaded 10.3.2.2339--no problem, of course. Then I tried to load the 859 radio autoloader over it, something that usually works without wiping the phone. Oops--soft bricked it again. So I autoloaded the entire 10.3.2.858 OS with radio 859--still soft bricked. Then I made an autoloader hybrid of 2339/859 with DBBT--again soft bricked. So I'm back to 10.3.2.2339 and am restoring my old stuff from 2339.
Absolutely right! To my opinion this is the only inconvenience in the original passport, not so much on typing but for scrolling by using the touch sensitive keyboard.

Based on my experience only you're going to pass? Others have said its perfectly flush.
I just ordered mine this afternoon. Super excited about it. Going to compare it to my Porsche p'9982 and see if I can live without it.

No you don't need to tell AT&T anything, just move the Sim card over.

How is the sound better if it's the same hardware as the red?

Just saw your post. If you have fulfilled a previous contract I would contact AT&T to check if you can reduce you bill. My son and I both have non- contract phones, share 1gb download, and pay $75USD/ month plus tax. Good luck.

Wait let me get this straight. The OG screen protectors should ALL work on the SE! I mean I looked at the screen specs for both phones and it's still the same dimensions so why are you guys cutting down the screen protectors? It makes no sense.

Thanks for the excellent in-depth analysis . You have covered almost all the touch points. Leather flip case makes the device look very safe . Waiting to be available in Dubai .
That's exactly what I'm thinking...
Sound comparison between SE and Red Passport on N4BB. They made a video.

A YouTube video isn't going to show me difference in audio too well. You're talking to an audio engineer here. And n4bb... you still read that? Lol besides it's the same exact hardware, nothing has changed there.
Edit: I was right. video showed no difference whatsoever.

Very sad day today. I've had my SE for four days now and have to send my red one back to shopblackberry today. Doing a security wipe as I write this. I SO don't want to part with it. To anyone who has the original pp... you've got a classic in your hands. Enjoy it. Very sad day, indeed.
any particular reason why you're sending back your SE?
I'm sending the red one back to sbb as I've had it within the 30 day money back guarantee (three weeks). I'm keeping the SE. But I'll admit.. I'm tempted to send the SE back.
I didn't offer an opinion one way or the other. I just happened to stumble across this and thought I'd share it because y'all were talking about the speakers. You're welcome.

It's louder and has a better bass response. Just sounds more balanced.

 My SE just arrived by FedEx from ShopBlackBerry aka Digital Rivers with no hitches.
I'm gifting my original PP to my son; so quick question, do I just remove the sim card and media from the original PP and insert it in my SE or are there any steps I ought to follow in order maintain continuity? Thanks for any help or suggestions.
You can do a number of things, BlackBerry Link can guide you through, when you set up your pp, the phone will ask you via the bbid to transfer over I believe.
