Got mine a couple of days ago. Direct from Blackberry - $670 (inc tax to Nova Scotia) just the phone, no accessories.

I was due an upgrade but turned down paying less to get an iPhone 6s Plus and bought this.

Am I happy? Yes, for sure. The Passport is a unique productivity tool. I've had the black one and this is much nicer. It's mainly looks but the keyboard is superior, there's much less "topple" forward when typing. Besides keyboard and speaker sound and looks, there's no difference from the original. But the original is a superb phone too. The only area where it's a touch behind say the S6 6S Samsung Apple flagships is the camera which is not as good as the Galaxy S6 line or the iPhone 6S. Apart from that it's a match in every area they excel in, plus this has form factor, battery and productivity which beats everything else. Overall I'm very happy.

And WOW, does it look good beside my Macbook Pro! They're like a set!

Yup! The Keyboard bezel and Sim/Sd card cover are made of plastic. Just got my SE and so far no reboot or screen lift problem. Just getting used to the size coming from Q10.

I'm almost certain that the speaker grills on the Passport SE is plastic. The color and appearance doesn't match the frame.

Well if you tap a fork against it you can tell by the sound. But. I have tried it again. And I think there may be 3 materials here. But I don't think it's plastic unless it's poly carb not unlike the lumia.. yes after looking at the colour difference with my microscope, there are deffo about 4 materials on the outside not including camera

Whatever the speaker grille is made of, one thing I do know is that the speakers aren't only more "treble-y" than the original Passport, but they are kind of "vibration-y". I'm not sure if it's because of something in the phone chassis vibrating, but it is more distorted than the original Passport... kind of like the bezel is distorting the sound.
    Anyone else having this problem?
It doesn't sound like something is wrong with my unit, it just seems like the sound is like that on the SE.

Have to be honest like my sound is better than original passport. No vibration. But could it be to do with your equaliser setting. Just a thought

Yes I must agree the speakers are better than my original passport. The highs are much more clear and louder.

I love this thing. Lmao only issue I have is I bought it sealed bnib without the accessories and I'm having a difficult time trying to find a leather flip case on kijiji. Pretty soon I have to bite the bullet and order from blackberry but I didn't want to wait..

Music ones is only ones there is. If it's your calls there's a couple of adjustments in call settings under audio. But I think that's it.

Got an amazing deal for a like new SE from a fellow CB member who's also willing to help with warranty claim if I ever need it (huge plus buying from community members if they're cool and know about BB). Less than $400 USD because of exchange rates with Canada.

It will be here on 10/5, so I'll soon part ways with my OG.

Here we go with the great silver edition!now I have both black and silver.if the SE costs the upgrade?yes!great build quality and feels solid. When I take it in my hand it's like I hold something really expensive and massive.

I got the first original Passport, then I got the AT&T version (I still have it), the red one, the Classic and now I also have the SE. I think the SE is the best Passport version BB has made. It is a much better Passport: elegant, sexy, and the keyboard is just great.
