Ken now that you have figured out I can tell you the 'Natural Sound' from Z30 is vastly improved on Passport. There is no AM but I have not heard the kind of music quality on FM on any phone so far. Just get a decent ear buds and you are all set. I wonder you did not read countless threads about DR when PP was launched. I have not seen many walking off happy, doing business with them
OP@ how is tactile feedback on the PKB? I understand that AT&T is little softer than original and Porsche Design P'9982 is too 'spongy', so how is this one coming up for you? Do you feel loudspeaker and/or in call audio is improved over original one?

I think the sound is louder and crisper compared to the OG. Check out n4bb on youtube on this too.

We shouldn't have to do this on a brand new device....I started to look at the overall build quality and noticed another flaw with how the case mates with the keyboard near the top row it is not perfectly symmetrical on both sides....This is not acceptable with today's technology. I am really starting to believe some of the other threads I have read about where BB is heading and it is away from hand held devices.

Likewise. Got mine this morning and have been getting everything transferred over from "Big Red". Build quality is great and i'm really liking the slightly softer keyboard touch. I found the red a little too "clicky" sometimes, especially with the space bar. My typing speed on the silver is already quite a bit faster than on the red version.

Ummm...just because I have 1 post or whatever...I am a professional engineer and have had every BB phone since their first phone that they ever launched!! I also purchase every flagship phone from all the major 4 operating systems so I know what I am taking about when I compare hardware issues...the OG Passport which I also have is a completely different phone so you cannot even compare them once you get your SE...maybe then you can speak to the build quality but wait I have mine so I can!!!

Look it is simple I am not impressed with the fit and finish of the SE so I have returned it and I will continue to use my OG Passport, Q10, Z10, Z30, Classic and 9900...I always have been a BB user since they were first sold and just because I reply to a thread using an iPhone you make assumptions that I am another BB hater...grow up!

Hi,

Yes it most certainly does it has a better balance based on the longer chin, diamond back and redesigned body etc...and the keyboard is also smoother with the keys being easier to press. I noticed an immediate increase in my typing speed and the overall handling of the phone is improved.

How is the sound on the silver edition compared to the original passport? I find that the sound on passport is louder but the quality of sound on the z30 is better.

The OG has deeper bass, and a richer sound, but seems slightly muddy in comparison to the SE. The SE is sharper sounding, a bit clearer. I prefer the OG for music, but the SE for conference calls or podcasts.

They're definitely different. And the SE is probably the overall better sounding of the two for work. Clarity is the keyword, and the SE has it in spades.

I received mine yesterday. I had 4 passports and returned them all. Was using a z30 it'll yesterday. The fit/finish/feel second to none. The keyboard smoother, softer to type. Rounded bottom does not dig into hands, thumb joints don't hurt from typing cause keyboard has been moved up. Premium feel all around and the extras it came with are great. Signal reception is as good as the z30 which means great. Again this phone is a delight to hold.

The glass edges are all straight on the Passport SE. I had competent Ghost Armor employee (in this case the manager) custom cut a screen protector on Friday.

Yes the frame is flush to the screen.

Which means that a glass screen protector will be an option! Hate to ask this, especially because I just ordered 2 last night, but any DT issues yet?
