The original PP does have FM Radio. Works well too.

    Posted via CB10
Yes, 9 months later I found that out serendipitously, right here on CB! Problem is, I'm in a weak reception area for FM, at least for what I listen to. I'm using mostly TuneIn and Nobex to get radio, and they don't work all that well.

To stay on topic, I ordered the Silver on ShopBB last night and am hoping I'll get it by the weekend. If they can deliver to Ontario in one day they should be able to get it to Illinois. After all, Black Hawks beat the Maple Leafs. :-)

Not sure if this question has been asked (I haven't seen it) but out of curiosity, what is the software version of the device?

Does swiping on keys work as well considering the frets are wider?

Frets appear to be the same width. Check OP's photos on page 1, post 1.

The more I feel it the more I think it is steel but I can't say with 100% confidence either way. The Sim door looks the same as the rest of the device but once you get it off the back of it is clearly plastic.
Without applying to much pressure pretty much just making contact...you can either use your teeth or nails (since they're made out of minerals 'calcium') and gently slide across the surface. Minerals do not slide smoothly when rubbed or slid against each other. Sliding your teeth across a smooth metal surface or even glass you'll notice some abrasive feeling since it's mineral to mineral contact.

Do the same and slide across a smooth plastic finish and you will not feel abrasion as mineral feels slippery and slides across plastic surfaces.

Tried tapping a coin per deadcowboys suggestion and after looking at the above development pics it appears the chin is plastic. The speaker part at the bottom is too from the looks of it.

Are the Silver's chin and improved keys the same as the AT&T model Passport? I understand that the design is different from the original, global model, but how does everything compare to the SQW100-3 model?

Update to sim door gap -I gently bent the sim door in the direction of the gap and put it back on so now it fits almost perfectly.

I've got mine all set up.

It's really nice. It's crazy to say that this is like a $2,000 phone. Its not. The materials are the same as a regular Passport, which were nice too. SE has a little more visible metal. It really just about style. I like it a lot. It definitely is meant to resemble an old camera.

The keyboard is also a little bit better. There is less resistance in the keys and I think I can type a little faster because of it.

I don't want to part with my Red Passport because I like it too. Again, just a different style.

I'm happy with my purchase. The phone is sweet!

You have a Red passport and a Silver one? Your like my idol haha.

Do you like the grip better on the SE? Am worried about the slippery back on the red.
