Some of you running leaks that had the flickering issue, did you ever report on it here in the forum? I don't ever seeing it and only seeing that the leaks were working great and that there weren't any problems with it.
It was reported by many users in the BlackBerry Beta Zone.

I just got my passport yesterday and updated. I had occasional flickering in some apps. I restarted and the flickering only returned once. No problems since.

Holy PMS. I see someone hasn't got laid in a while. I sold it cause i like the ATT version better. So when that flickering issue gets fixed. I'll put the 520 i got selling my passport towards the ATT model. But for now i'm using my Z30 with the leaked OS version 10.3.1. 2267. Running smooth

I claimed before that I got a flawless passport and had NO flickering issues. But today, out of nowhere ALL my apps started to flicker...at times went blank. Even settings page flickered.

I never thought the flickering problem was so baaaad as people claimed. This is a bit too much... they need to fix this as soon as possible.

Yes, now its working fine after a reboot. But then, not a solution

A restart fixed the flickering for my Passport. No issues for several hours, not expecting it to come back.

Omg, you're on to something. Mind have always been set to 7 and that's why I haven't had a single flicking issue like most people on here. I thought I could only be the lucky one who got a perfect update.

Try changing to seven then hard reboot and let me know how you get on.

I am very sure Blackberry is aware of all these issues.

I am thankful to visit this site and getting my "tech support". Otherwise I would going nuts.

Hopefully Blackberry hear us "loud and clear" and mega push an update ASAP!

Michael Clewley, also a Passport user and Product Manager of BlackBerry is already aware of the issue. We may receive a new update in the next few weeks or months. Just hang on there.

    Thanks for the info.

Well , a few weeks or months in the tech world are risky.

Apple would come out with an update quicker. I keep my hopes high. The sooner the better.

What about those ATT user with their new fun-looking round passports? No problem with their OS?

Guys I've mentioned earlier that I had a perfect update and after reading through most of your post, I have come across JamieWilson01 font theory. My font have always been set to 7 before the update and remain at 7 after the update. I decided to test his theory out by changing my font to 8, played around with it for an hour and nothing happen. I then tried a hard reboot so the font feature would settle in. After the reboot, I played around with it for about 30 min and there it is. I saw the flicker in the Facebook app and Blackberry World. It was horrific. Now I understand what most of you are going through. I changed my font back to 8, did a hard reboot and everything seems find again.

Story short, try changing the font to 7 and do a hard reboot to see if that fixes the flickering problem.

I'm using 7 as always, and flickering still persists.
    It comes and it goes.
We really need an update coming from BlackBerry, hoping it will be sooner as expected.

I have had zero flickers on my red Passport (amazon). I've had the update since Thursday afternoon and have been on my Passport nonstop, like the obsessed person that I am.

I was previously on the stock 10.3.0.1418 and updated to 10.3.1.2267 OTA.

My Shop BlackBerry black Passport is still on 10.3.0.1418 despite it using the same sim and everything, so I'm not sure what the holdup is.

Anyways.. no flicker here, looks like I dodged a bullet.

Don't be that happy, the more annoying part of that bug that it seems to be relatively random.
Example, in my case that 2-3 days I didn't see it, but I know that it can come at anytime. When you have plenty things open you maximise your odd to see it.

I'm really questioning the goal of the Beta Programme since that bug was obvious, even us leak users saw that since ages...

It's been 8 days for me. Flicker free. Before that last flicker, which was minimal, I had gone five days without one. Hoping a fix comes soon for everyone.

Alrightie, this info may or may not be useful. My brother and I both have BlackBerry Passports, my brother's passport doesn't flicker, he sticks to all official updates and doesn't fiddle with his device a lot but I install leaks and fiddle with my device a lot, and my device is effected with screen flicker. It looks like only certain devices are plagued with screen flicker.

Not saying installing leaks have a hand in this issue, thought i'd share my observations.

And I'm sure BlackBerry will fix this. We just have to be patient and support BlackBerry as much as we can.
