Well it doesn't flicker THAT much so it doesn't bother me too much. Surely BlackBerry will be fixing this shortly I'd assume.

Well I wouldn't hold your breath, it's already been awhile, I just don't under stand why people will side load to get there apps on there phone but won't side load the files to fix there device.

I am still holding out for BlackBerry to roll out an official fix.

As am I. I don't need the minor update from 10.3.0.908 to 10.3.1 that bad. My Passport works awesome so I can wait also. Will keep checking to see if anything new happens but worried it may be a lengthy wait
One question I would like to ask is after you sideload the leaked version or patch, is there any flickering at all being reported? Not just for one user but overall?

From the thread where the flicker fix was posted. One person reported a flicker but over all, no one else. And that person might have seen a stutter. I wouldn't say it was a flicker.

So my Passport has been flickering a lot lately. Almost to where I have to turn off and on the device about 2-3 times a day. Usually with the Settings, Camera, WhatsApp, WeChat, BlackBerry World, BBM, Music, Pictures and other native apps. It's stressing me out!!!!

I'm on Software Release 10.3.1.1372 and OS Version 10.3.1.1955. (AT&T edition)

Same here! After few days of normal working it's back on my passport. I had to reset my phone twice. I see so many people having this problem then why there is no response from BlackBerry. They should have gone through it before releasing it.

Some flicker occasionally on Att pp, official 10.3.1.1372
Noticed it real bad when opening settings with the browser and a couple other apps open. The screen went rapidly on and off
Saw flickering this am in the texting app, had some flicker above the message window, but the whole screen did not turn on and off like before(that only happened once so far)

I had really bad flickering in apps including native apps along the bottom bar. It was so bad I couldn't even see the menu options. Then other times I would have the whole screen flicker. People's suggestion to restart the device seems to help.

I'm running 10.3.1.1581. I'm not a techy guy by any means, but this is not a leaked version. It was released by my service provider. I've experienced the black screen and flickering on 4 or 5 occasions over the past month. My gyroscope and light sensor isn't working as it should either. I need to restart or reboot daily. My first thought was to bring it in and have it looked at by Blackberry, but as I read more on these forums, I see that many people just hold out until a fix is issued. I can get by for now, should I just hold onto my phone until Blackberry released a patch?

So I just reviewed another 2-3 completely useless pages full of:
"I'm having the issue under [random circumstance]!"; "Load the leaked 10.3.1.2480 patch!"
    (repeated in an endless loop)

Now we're seeing reports of a new OS update being officially pushed via OTA (10.3.1.2558). From what I can tell, its only the Z30 that has gotten it so far. Does anyone know if any other device has gotten this update? Also, does anyone know if it includes the Passport fixes? (I'd assume it does, but we won't know until someone tries.)

I'm planning on installing it as soon as its actually pushed to me via OTA. Just wondering if it actually has been pushed to anyone besides Z30 users yet.

I don't side-load OS leaks on my primary device.

Yes. It fixes everything on the passport. Even the FREAK vulnerability. See here for more info:
