I had flickering on my camera and settings menu. I completely turned off the phone, turned it back on and voila, no flickering. And I didn't have to start a douchey thread to accomplish it. It's a new os and there is always settling, just read up on any ios update. This update is phenomenal.

I only ever experienced flicker on a 10.3.1 build when using font size 8.

I contacted BlackBerry and sent video at their request back in November to illustrate it.

Saw another passport user with font size 7 and loved the look so changed mine. Haven't experienced flickering since.

I currently have 8 apps in active frame as I type this including browser camera and whatsapp.

There was a thread where someone mentioned the Classic having the same issue with the latest 10.3.1 update, which is why I haven't installed the latest Bell update.
what are you talking about..I have a Classic with leak on it and no issue...nor on my Z 30...

James. I use 6 font. Still had the flicker happen. Very minimal. But I haven't had a flicker in a week. Running leaked OS 2267. No restore.

Sorry....Jamie lol. But, I'm so used to the smaller size and more screen real estate. I haven't had a flicker in a week. But when the next one does happen, I'll try 7. Actually, I know someone using 5 font! . And his flicker was so bad, he even posted a clip on youtube.

Updated yesterday and I was flicker free until today, I was changing my password picture when it happened, also I was listening music and it became distorted at the same time. I closed all apps and flickering disappeared.
Never installed a leak and rotation lock was on.

I ran both when they were leaks and had flicker on both.

And yes, when an OS version it's released, it's not a leak anymore, but it's the same version.

Been on the 2267 release since 9 am. No flickering yet. Really surprised since I had the 2267 leak, and I dumped it after it flickered all the time. Then I dropped down to 2243. It also flickered, and I was just about to wipe it clean and go back to the original OS.

Then I got this pushed on me today at work. Decided what the hell it had software release 1581.

I never paid attention to the software release only the OS version.

Maybe that helps. Tic toc to the flicker party.

Some of you running leaks that had the flickering issue, did you ever report on it here in the forum? I don't ever seeing it and only seeing that the leaks were working great and that there weren't any problems with it.

Yes. It was known. Threads weren't started about it, though. Just posts in the leak threads mentioning "yeah it's there". We lived with it because it was a leak. It's very minimal on my device.

I would love to know what this flickering issue is? My Passport on stock OS has been flawless...I had a few reboot issues at first, but a reset fixed that, and now it has been stable flawless and perfect for like 2 months...maybe I won't: do the 10.3.1 update?

I am shocked....they must have literally fired or lost all their developers to have not noticed it. I have seen it frequently in 3 seperate passports including the att passport with factory installed os. As much testing as ATT does and as many things as they asked them to fix about the passport it's mind blowing

just goes to show blackberry really doesn't do a good job testing their software. I sold my passport cause of the flickering. it was annoying. Someone wants to look at my passport and a flickering screen shows up. Their response "and that's why i left blackberry" smh
How did you sell your passport because of the flickering? The OS was just released yesterday! Unless you sold it because it was flickering when you were running LEAKS. Which in that case would make you an ***** since you expected stable functionality with a leak.

Glad you sold it so I don't have to hear all the other not supported things you would complain about.

And that goes for the rest of the dummies here saying they sold from flickering issues with leaks!

No problems here on 10.3.1.1581. Did not install leaks before. Have an unlocked version that I'm using on T-Mobile in the US.
