The AT&T release is, indeed, 1955. However, if you're just running a factory-unlocked Passport on AT&T you will not be getting your update from AT&T, you will get it direct from BlackBerry - and BlackBerry is pushing 2267.
    Still waiting to see, haha.

...Now that 10.3.1 is official, I backed up, did a factory reset, and have set things up again manually, so no restore. (In fact, I restored my faulty Passport backup to the Z30 so that I can catch anything I missed. )

So far, all strangeness (flickering, green camera, no audio on calendar notifications) is gone.

It's working like a champ. Setting everything up again was a bit of a pain but is totally worth it so far. SMS Backup was my friend, and I've again lost my ?BBM history and some minor Remember notes that were local only. I think that, for me, the time was overdue for a fresh start. I figure that this is what I get for playing with leaked builds and restoring from one device to the next. Such is life.
I'm the same. I think the restore is the culprit. Let's wait and see. All is looking good right so far.

What is this flickering you all speak off?

I updated mind and tried all the native and Android apps that have reported flickering and I still can not replicate it. Am I the only lucky one here to get a perfect update to .2267?

    You are lucky then
Flickering may appear after 2-3 days, and sometimes within a week.

The exact same OS version has been available as a leak for a few weeks now, with the exact same issue reported.

Well I didn't install a leak. I installed an official update so I guess we're going to have to wait and see... which I don't think will happen because this OS feels solid to me.

Nowhere near gruesome and grisly. Mildly annoying, to be sure. With 2267 you may go days without a flicker, and then you do a hard reboot and it's gone again for some time.

It's a bug that has to be fixed, and it will be fixed. Is BlackBerry to blame for its fecklessness? Of course. But I've had much worse problems with my Macbooks over many iterations and many OS versions. It's the nature of computing.

Lol,.. it's the same exact software, and if Sachesi was used to install the leak without wiping and/or using autoloader, then the exact same installation mechanics.

Anyway,.. I do hope you're lucky enough to never trigger the screen flicker. But there is no question that it's there.

Again,.. as has been said many times. Bugs happen, but this very visible one has been know since the first 10.3.1 leaks came out back in November. The issue is easy to stop by simply closing all open apps. It's not the end of the world.

However, the outrage is actually targeted at the fact that either (1) BlackBerry failed (as in, cannot figure out how) to fix it even though they knew about it or WORSE (2) they weren't even AWARE of such a visible and extremely well documented issue.

    I just can't imagine 2, and I hope it's not 1 (can't be if 10.3.0 worked fine).

So maybe it's the typical case of low level engineers trying to raise red flags and getting ignored by their disconnected midlevel managers that only care about a$$ kissing their directors (basically the recurring theme of the story of BlackBerry).

I agree, that's a likely scenario. It's one of the reasons I own Apple stock and not Blackberry. Apple fixes stuff eventually and doesn't try to hide problems. Just today they announced a recall on some MBPs with video problems AND a refund for those who had had to get it fixed out of warranty before the recall. With just a 10 minute phone call they are issuing me a check for $320 for my out of pocket repair in 2014 of my 2012 computer. Just enough for me to buy my wife half a Passport, if she sees the check, that is.

Noticed Flickering today on my Passport as well. Updated to OS 10.3.1.1565 and experienced flickering when using the RBC Banking App. Rebooted and it's fine now. Will keep an eye on it.

Also experiencing LOW volume for Notifications. There are tons of posts and user affected by this issues, using various devices.
