So far as I can tell, the AT&T official release at the moment is 1955 not 2267. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I've been on 2267 via leak for about 10 days and have had one instance of flickering on my Passport, and one instance of the phone getting too hot and at the same time rebooting spontaneously two times, then returning to normal. Otherwise, it's working well.
It is 2267. Just got it this morning. Prior to this I ran every leak known to man. All flickered.

Granted it has only been appx. 2 hours with the official ATT release, but I have no flickering or low volume notifications.

However, I will report back once the light show continues.

It's been held off from carriers such as Rogers... I hope other carriers and BlackBerry have the sense to not push the Passport update.

I haven't receieved the update for my Passpot from Bell. So you might be right in the carries holding back. Makes sense if it were the case. Let's hope.

A couple of weeks ago, a friend of mine was showing me an email on his iPhone 6 and the phone just died and rebooted right in front of my eyes.
This flicker is unfortunate, but not uncommon in devices today because of the fast time to market and variety of device architectures running the same OS, and in Blackberry's case - tight budgets.

I have been on 10.3.1.2072 and saw the flicker right after loading the OS, then a reboot cleared it and phone was buttery smooth. I have seen the flicker maybe once since then and a reboot took care of it. I have never figured out any correlation to any app, battery percent etc.

On a positive note, give them credit: they did work on the camera focus.
Those coming from Passport 10.3.0 should appreciate the improvements.

But iMore isn't full of threads covering such an issue, and that's the problem - the flickering is not an isolated incident, it's (relatively) widespread and has been present for months prior to the official release. It was noted in every leak, it was noted by testers in the official beta program, and somehow BlackBerry still didn't address it. Mistakes happen, but when it's an issue everyone here knew about for so long, it's pretty disappointing that BlackBerry manages not to notice.

Strange. I am on AT&T, using 2267 from previous leaks. When I go to Sachesi, USA (310), Carrier AT&T (410), Passport, it gives me 1955 and not 2267.

The AT&T release is, indeed, 1955. However, if you're just running a factory-unlocked Passport on AT&T you will not be getting your update from AT&T, you will get it direct from BlackBerry - and BlackBerry is pushing 2267.

Don't submit the log as you can tell, the official submit process won't know what the log is for unless you have an incident number. Instead, next time just save the log to your phone and then email it.

BUT, at this point it seems it is no longer needed, it seems MichaelClewley has said he doesn't need any logs and is only looking for those with issues in the KW or Ottawa area.

That could be true. I really didn't pay attention where the update was from. I was running 2243, which was horrible for me. As was the leaked 2267.

But this recent one has given me 3 hours of no flickering.

Maybe go back a release. Then let it update. It did come with .1581 software.
It won't tell you where the update is from or anything of that sort, but BlackBerry has already confirmed that all factory-unlocked phones are receiving 10.3.1 independent of carrier approval. So, unless you bought an actual AT&T Passport today (or bought the Passport from another carrier, then unlocked it), your Passport on AT&T should be receiving 2267 straight from BlackBerry.

Amazon unlocked version on att. I was just looking at the software version above, available from sachesi. It was different.

Interesting thought about going back a release, say, to 1955, from the leaked 2267. I wonder if you have to reinstall all the 1955 apps as well. Then you would let BlackBerry update the unlocked Passport (from Amazon) to 2267 OTA? Is there a difference between a leaked 2267 and an official 2267?

From what I have read no, but it did come with a different software release. Maybe, that helps. I haven't hooked it up to sachesi yet to see about the updated apps. But, it didn't load anything I didn't already have, such as facebook and LinkedIn.

I'm at 4 hours with no flickering. But, I'm not optimistic about it staying that way.

I was experiencing this on my new Passport as well. The history that lead to the flickering was Z10 on 10.0 a few leaked 10.2 builds, Q5, Q10, Z30, 10.3 leaks, 10.3.1 leaks, to Passport 10.3.1 leak with a restore from a Z30 backup of a leak. Frankly, I was surprised it worked at all. Now that 10.3.1 is official, I backed up, did a factory reset, and have set things up again manually, so no restore. (In fact, I restored my faulty Passport backup to the Z30 so that I can catch anything I missed. )

So far, all strangeness (flickering, green camera, no audio on calendar notifications) is gone.

It's working like a champ. Setting everything up again was a bit of a pain but is totally worth it so far. SMS Backup was my friend, and I've again lost my BBM history and some minor Remember notes that were local only. I think that, for me, the time was overdue for a fresh start. I figure that this is what I get for playing with leaked builds and restoring from one device to the next. Such is life.
