No flickering here!I made security wipe after the installation, maybe because of that I have zero issues or maybe I am just lucky.

Did you installed from leaks or the official?

Some occurs after 2 or 3 days after installation, but others are lucky no flickering problems at all, you might be one of them, but then again, wait for a week to confirm.

Here also no flickering!!!i was with official 098 software, I update through Ota and after the update I made an security wipe of the phone! No flickering in main applications or installed from other sources. Also when I finished installing of all I need I just reboot the device twice. So far so good.

AT&T is supposed to be launching with .1955 which has confirmed flicker in the Leaks Forum.
Awesome, AT&T mistakenly pushed 10.3.1.1151 way back when and I've been enjoying green ever since!

For what it's worth (as some have reported still getting the flickering) i've let Michael Clewley know about it. Don't think it's something they noticed (that, or they noticed it earlier and already fixed it, and the folk getting it now are just incredibly unlucky).

Hopefully there will be much more feedback over the coming days and we'll get an idea of how bad it is.

For what it's worth I haven't had it in the few hours since the update was pushed, but then it would go days without occurring at times anyway.

Restarting does fix it, but it has a tendency to return randomly (at which point either closing the offending app, or rebooting the phone, seems to be the only workaround).

Update of my post before minutes, the flickering is here,in settings only and after one reboot is ok but 10 min later is again here,so wipe or not flickering is major bug, that is clear, just a matter of time...

So, anyone still getting this: we need logs to send to BlackBerry.

The 'streaming' log is the one we want. Instructions are here:

This "flickering" is a unique battery saving feature of the BlackBerry Passport which uses Frequency Alternating Interpolation Lighting technology.

I thought they didn't push the Passport update because of this flicker... atleast for Rogers they held off.

BlackBerry really needs to make some changes if an issue that the community knew about for months can slip by their QA team.

According to Clewley it wasn't known (well, 'isn't')...

Either way, the best we can do now is contact them and give them every bit of info we can.

As bad as it is that it got through, that's now our only option (aside from just putting up with it).

Honestly.... how does a company as big as BlackBerry miss a glitch like this...? I used 10.3.1 for a week and i noticed the flickering as well as many other serious bugs... my contacts are all linked up terribly, people are linked with the wrong people. Complete disaster. I blamed the leak for these issues but if this is actually the official version... I'm not going to be happy.

It's been held off from carriers such as Rogers... I hope other carriers and BlackBerry have the sense to not push the Passport update.
