When this thread hit a million and half of the people have paid the deposit, I guess BlackBerry will start to consider producing Android-based Passport. Before that, I don't see the necessity and the possibility.

Expect an Android Passport to hit the shelves shortly after the BB10 PlayBook is released.
I hope they do make the passport a android, as it is such a nice phone, and android looks like it's the way to go from now, must admit I do have reservations though, how will the pp handle the android software.

Haha had no idea there was a waiting room. Here you go. The Android Passport has Arrived! - BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com
I should get my Passport SE in the mail this Thursday. It would be nice to have the option to load Android on it, although I'll be quite happy if BB10 works well for another couple years.

I don't care even if they give me an optimized Lollipop Android for my Passport SE.
So much potential here lost due to the lack of app support. Oh. give us Blend while you're at it.
