Does anyone know when the official 10.3.1 is going to be released for the passport. I have the 10.3.1 that att released by accident but I don't want to go to anymore leaked os. Just aiming for the official now. Do you feel it's going to come out the same day as the release of the classic?

It'll come out when it will. That's the only 100% confirmed information out right now, which is easily revealed by a cursory forum search.

I don't want to start a rumor--so take this with a grain of salt, but I have a feeling it will be released on Dec 17th, when the Classic launches (this is my opinion after consulting with BB's 2014 roadmap below)

Blackberry's Q3 ended on November 29th, with the Q3 earnings report scheduled for Dec 19th. Q4 ends on Feb 28th. Again, take this with a grain of salt.

With the Classic release happening in just two weeks, it is possible the 10.3.1 OTA update will get green light just before Christmas. Yet considering the carriers will, as usual, have the final word regarding a release, availability will differ anyways.

I see a lot of talk about improved battery life and better handling of aspect ratios in the Android runtime. Those are the two things I'm looking forward to having.

My battery life already stomps three kinds of hell out of any phone I've ever had before. Any kind of upgrade to that will just be for bragging rights. But who doesn't want that?

Been working from home this week so the Passport has been connected to Blend for 12 plus hours a day.

As I type this I have been 2 days and 23 hours since off charge and I have 55% battery left, gods honest truth.

So I have an unlocked passport,on ATT. Which at this point, doesn't even sell it. If an official update goes out, would I get it?

Yes you will! Unlocked devices from BlackBerry get OS updates directly from BlackBerry.

Is it factory unlocked (bought from BlackBerry) , or unlocked from another carrier?

If factory unlocked, you will get prompt updates from BlackBerry directly.

If it is just SIM unlocked, then you will most likely still get it through your current carrier - which might be a problem if your carrier does not have the device. You may have to fire up Sachesi and learn to load an OS from another carrier. It's actually very easy.

You'll be fine since you bought it directly from Amazon (which was directly from BlackBerry).

You'll get the update direct from BlackBerry when the official release drops.
