It shows blank because the Android software has nothing to put into the notification. But the software that BlackBerry OS uses generates a notification to run the Android software.

Nothing can be done about it unless one of the two software programs code something that will show up into the notification.

The Android developer probably won't change their software to accommodate that.

But one day maybe, BlackBerry can develop their software to show a generic message for times when the Android app doesn't have any information to place in the notification.

Long story short, that's normal when running some android apps. And nothing can be done at this time in date.

Actually there is notification. It was working before I restored the OS. It's the Fotmob app.

It happened to me on 10.3.1. I fixed it by wiping the phone and reinstalling all the apps, not restoring from Link backup.

At times, I also have Yahoo not providing score update through notification (the notification is not blank but there is no score). This is fixed by having Endomodo sending a notification. After that,the score shows up in Yahoo notifications. Go figure.
