Its laughable that so many manufactures have already developed a range of different cases and holsters when all the BB has managed is their Flip Case.

Why on earth BB is not cashing in on the success of the Passport by making more accessories is puzzling to say the least !

All I want is an OEM Pouch, is it too much to ask ???

Would have got the PDair one as it looks very nice, but it does not have a cut out for the LED notification which makes it a no go for me.

Thanks for sharing. like the cutout for the notification light. Landscape style stand is a fail imo. Needs to be portrait for me. Also it looks a bit bulky.

I just ordered. I have had their cases for my Z10, Z30 and Kindle Fire HD. Like them a lot. I have been using the BlackBerry half shell which is not enough. I like the stand idea. Delivery is about 3 days so I'll discuss it then. Here is link http://www.noreve.com/en/recherche?c...submit_search=

Problem with Passport is...it is big!
Every case make it even BIGGER!
With this case it is/looks 3-4 times thicker, come on.
I have few cases and stick with hard she'll to save my camera from scratches and for easy access to the phone, without any annoying flaps.
Just love my Passport bare, but better save than sorry.

I have Kindle Fire HD case from Noreve and it does not add any substantial bulk. This case appears to be much the same style. But it won't be ultra thin.

I'm not sure what that is but I don't think it's a cutout for the notification light, actually I don't think it's a cutout at all. For starters, it's in the completely wrong location and secondly, if you look at the inside of the front cover there is absolutely no corresponding hole. Most likely it's a company logo.

That's one thing I'm noticing with a lot of these 3rd party cases for the Passport, they don't have a cutout for the notification light. Even the TETDED cases, that I'll probably end up with for my European trip next summer, doesn't have a cutout.

I had several Noreve cases in the past years, they offer great quality, good protection but they indeed do add quite some bulk to the devices. Especially when it comes to thickness, since the front flap cover is quite padded - which is good for protection however.

They also have a vertical flip case, which is the one I am going to buy. Too bad they haven't included a sleeping magnet like they did on some of their previous BlackBerry cases in the past.

By the way, if you are interested to order one of their cases, try their coupon code:
    PRENOEL14
It offers you a decent 15% rebate if you order until Nov 25th.

Not to mention that the BlackBerry branded leather flip leaves a lot to be desired.

The Passport is a flagship device so one would expect a higher end case, but the Z10 experience influences everything. The format seems to be catching on. If it is an enduring format there may be more options to follow.

They actually have two variants of Passport cases, the pictured one in this thread as well as a vertical flip case without a kickstand.

IMHO not laughable... maybe they are pulling back from the passport only to focus on the classic... so they are not fronting a good array of oem accessories...

Actually, the landscape stand would be my preference inasmuch as it gives access to the microusb to charge & sync... problem is the cover will tie up some desk real-estate... I would look for the cover to reverse to make the stand for less bulk & dual use... comments?

It would be intelligent to insert a diffusion lens instead of a hole... maybe?

On a first thought: yes it would. But in reality, I kinda doubt it. The official flip cases by BlackBerry are using such a plastic lens, however they quite dim the LED, especially when it is not 100% alligned correctly with the lens. The cutout Noreve uses is quite a bit larger than the LED itself, so neither alignment nor a dim light is a problem with their cases.
